My mother was in a severe car accident in October 2017, which left her bedridden.

In April 2021, I signed a retainer agreement with Chagpar & Associates. During the consultation, I was informed that litigation insurance would be available for the case. However, after signing the agreement, I was unable to obtain any confirmation or details regarding this insurance. Had I known in advance that litigation insurance would not be provided, I would not have considered hiring them.

In 2022, Salina Chagpar repeatedly advised me to settle the accident benefits case as soon as possible and mentioned that if the case was not settled, she might report the situation to the PGT (Public Guardian and Trustee). I had hoped to secure a better outcome for my mother, but the final settlement did not meet my expectations, as the compensation was far from sufficient to cover my mother’s long-term medical and caregiving expenses. Additionally, my mother’s condition has since improved.
