Last night i visited drums and flats and i have to admit it was the worst experience that i have ever encountered. I came to the bar to watch UFC 252 and have a good meal. While my friend and i were there i ordered food and some drinks. While time got closer to the main ufc fight i asked my waiter if they could please raise the volume up and play the sound louder because there was no sound. He said absolutely no problem coming right up. Once i asked this request i personally witnessed him going up to the front bar and raising the volume up as requested. He gave me the thumbs up and the volume was all good for everyone to hear as other customers were also asking for some sound. Everything worked and was great until a lady working behing the bar told him not to play the UFC Fight on the main speakers and keep the random radio music going instead. I literally saw this happen right infront of me near the front bar. my friend and i who specifically came to this bar to watch the UFC fight witnessed a blonde/white hair woman tell my waiter to not play the UFC Fight commentary and keep the random radio music instead. I saw this with my own eyes. My friend and i personally witnessed this and were shocked to see that an employee would put her own personal preference above the paying customers. How can you do such a thing infront of customers just for your own personal preference. We heard her say she liked the music better and not the fight commentary that it was annoying. I cant believe the lack of good professional service i saw at this bar. In a way my server was at fault for listening to her. Even another customer mention the same situation to them. She did not put the fight audio because she personally didnt want to. Other customers also wanted sound for the fight. Why is a employee forcing another waiter to lie to honest paying customers that the audio for the UFC Fight isnt working when it actually is !? We heard it work for 5 minutes. She turned it off purposely. We witnessed this with our own eyes. She basically told the waiter to lie to us and some other customers about the sound. We even recorded it on our phones. If we wanted to we could upload this to social media and show how bad and negatively unprofessional the employees at this bar treats their honest paying customers. She was the only one with this specific look and description so it wont be hard to figure out who was working that night. Especially considering she was the only one mainly working at the front main bar on Saturday night. I am absolutely disappointed. Would NOT recommend other people to visit. Next time if a customer requests for higher volume for a UFC Paper view fight they want to see you put the sound on. Its not about what the selfish employees at the bar want. ITS WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS. I PAY MY MONEY NOT YOU SO GIVE ME WHAT I RIGHTFULLY PAID FOR. NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. Do this again and i wont hesitate to expose this pathetic selfish behaviour on social media. specifically mentioning this bar and location. There was only ONE PERSON WORKING WITH THE DESCRIPTION I PROVIDED. There should be no excuses on telling this employee that what they did was absolutely wrong. I paid my hard earned money to watch a fight WITH SOUND NOT RANDOM RADIO MUSIC. You give the customer what they request. Its not about your own personal benefit. You work at a job to provide GOOD UNBIASED CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. St Louis or Shoeless Joes looks like a way better place to go to in the near future they would never do this. Overall i am absolutely disappointed with the service my friend and i recieved. If there is a sport you are watching and you are interested in it you put the sound on for your paying customers. Employees should NEVER CHOOSE how a paying customer wants to hear and experience a paper view event they are rightfully paying for. Ill be back and if i see this again i...

I came here with my husband tonight Friday July 26 2024 for the first time we arrived just after 10pm. We waited at the bar to be served for about 7 minutes with no one greeting us at all. We asked a male worker if the bar was open and he replied there is no bartender tonight and to go outside to be served at a table. No problem, we sat outside at a table and waited 20 minutes no one even approached us to see if we wanted anything so my husband asked the lady who was serving the other tables if we could get a drink she said she needs to ask first. After a few minutes she came back out and we asked again thinking she misunderstood us thinking we wanted food. She told us she was told not to serve us! We are completely sober didn't have and drinks there. We asked why and she said she was told not to serve us. We couldn't understand why as we just arrived there. I believe they didn't want to serve us because my husband is black and not white like myself and all the other customers that were being served. Disgusted with the service in this racist place.
GOOGLE please do not remove the TRUTH. I can show proof we were there with my google maps. I will post this insane service we received all over social media as well as contact the media! Racism should never be accepted. Meal type Other

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a pub that specialises in chicken wings although there are a few other items on the menu. Go for the wings though! The standard wing order (you can choose "all drums, "all flats", or mixed) also provides your choice of fries or salad as an accompaniment.
The wings are all deep fried (sorry, baked is a no go) and they actually offer a "double dip" in which they cook the wings, coat with sauce #1, back in the fryer, coat with sauce #2, back in the fryer, then serve. I will definitely have to try this the.next time I'm here!
As it was, I had the "hot" wings (there are two upper levels for those who like to set their hair afire) and it was plenty hot. Basically, the sauce was Frank's or Louisiana with a healthy dollop of habanero to make life a little more interesting. One of my co-diners went up to the next level and even though he likes life and wings on the spicier side, said that the lips were just a wee bit numb at the end of the meal. He was perfectly satisfied with heat level. My significant other had lime pepper wings.and really enjoyed them.
Beer selection was good, with a rotating tap and a few nice craft beers by the glass as well. Service, although slow at first (I think it's new ownership), picked up.
The best compliment I can offer is that I'll definitely come back here again, maybe with my son who IS one of those "head afire"...
