Colonel Danforth Park can be found northwest of Lawrence Avenue and Meadowvale Road. If you follow the park trail to the northwest, you will find Morningside Park. Go southeast and you will find the Lower Highland Creek Park. This stretch of green space is another gem of a ravine in Toronto featuring the Highland Creek Trail. Wildlife, interesting plants and Highland Creek make this a wonderful walk in the east end. This park has a fenced Dogs Off-Leash Area, BBQ and picnic area, bike trails, a pond, and washroom. And oh, free parking is a bonus.🌞

Good place to walk, there are picnic and barbecue areas, I believe you can drive into the park, although we parked in the small parking lot on old Kingston Rd and walked there. No washroom available in winter time.

Beautiful spacious park. Lots of areas to picnic and many trails to walk. Dog owners need to keep their dogs on the leach though and pick up after them. It’s not an off leash park but it’s sometimes treated as such so watch where you walk. Not too many litterbugs so hopefully it...
