Hasty Market — Local services in Toronto

Would give negative star if possible…. Owners changed few months back been coming here few years as i live in the area. All the new employees are very rude never says thanks. Sometimes gives you the wrong cigarettes. Doesn't seem to understand what you want half the time yells what?! Refuse to heat up the food they have on display when they have microwave behind the counter. Considering they charge higher prices on everything compared to other store. I would say avoid this place if you can. You will save a dollar or two per item you pickup there by going accross the street. Previous owners were nice but the new ones just dont care about anything Ps. Make sure to get itemized receipt here at all times because the other day they charged me like $5 extra for no reason when i bought multiple things they thought i wouldn’t know. Went back to get my money back

Google says they are 24 hours, went by around 2 am to buy some smokes they had the doors locked i can see on their main screen for their camera is set to the entrance towards the counter. Knocked several times dude wouldn't come out, so i called them and picks up in like 2 seconds opens the door. Still has his wireless earphone in his ear. Gives me a pal mal when i asked for a belmont. I really hope owners read this lol they may be losing so much $ from this employee because 5 other people came in after me as well. Paying someone money to sit there listen to music and take a nap. ...

Today I bought a bag of onions. The display says $1.99 for a bag, I get to the counter and she was about to charge me $2.99. When I confronted them about this she begrudgingly changed the price to $2.49. I wasn't in the mood to fuss about 50 cents so I went on my way. I originally gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was a genuine mistake but Im seeing half the comments here complaining about the same thing. This is such a sketchy way of doing business and I'll be sure not to go there again and I'd encourage others...

Went to buy some lemons. Ok, a lemon costs 1.50 dollars, kinda expensive. I grab just one and go pay card. After the cashier swipes my card he announces there’s a 50cent surcharge for paying card. I ask him to pay this by card - now it’s a full dollar since it’s two swipes. Two dollars fifty is a little more than I’m willing to pay for a single lemon so I ask for a refund - and was then rudely told to “get out”. Yikes.
