For those who like tasty food, good tea and coffee, as well as a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of Istanbul, this is definitely the right place. The drink menu for the morning and afternoon is very complete, in addition to having many sweet and savory options. Right at the entrance you can drink water that is courtesy of the house, as in all places in Canada Service is direct at the cashier and you take your order to the table yourself. The atmosphere is very pleasant, quiet and welcoming with good service. Unfortunately, they do not have accessibility for people with physical disabilities, such as users of wheelchairs and walkers, and they do not have a menu in Braille. For those with children, unfortunately they do not have high chairs. The cafe is close to the Eglinton metro station, the bus terminal and several shops.

I had found this spot years ago as I worked in the area. I always felt the staff was really friendly, & with a smile. They always got my order, right which sometimes is not the case. Recently, although I don’t work in the area anymore, I was able to suggest to a friend we meet here. I went back and had the same amazing friendly service, this time even more food options, & a really cosy place to meet a friend. I had a simit with cheese, Cheese Pogaca) which she warmed up for me, & a latte. I always feel so welcome and I adore coffee and theirs is a really nice strong latte, which is not bitter, with beautiful artwork. I always make this place a must, anytime I’m in the area. I love supporting independent places with good service and coffee. Keep up the amazing service, treats, and cosy atmosphere! I can’t wait to go back.

This place was opened by a woman entrepreneur from Turkey, Antalya but unfortunately sold to its new owner after or during Covid lockdowns. As far as know, the new owner is also the creator of the Irish pub next door and trying to turn this sweet and unique coffee shop into a pub. We need places which are not oriented to alcohol sales and open till late. On the walls of this place, you’ll find photography of the previous owner, taken on Istanbul streets. Turkish coffee is not as good as it used to be and it is still a bit overpriced in my point of view. Internet speed is pretty good and highly recommended for a little laptop club but the place needs a makeover to accommodate more people who like to work here for longer hours. I tried the Turkey & Bacon Panini and it was yummy - fyi

I used to love this place because of its warm and cozy atmosphere, and their desserts are really great. However, I was so disappointed with the service recently. I ordered an iced matcha latte and tipped 20% as usual. I loved this place, so I always felt happy to tip. I usually get a latte or just an americano, but this was my first time ordering a matcha latte. I assumed it would be sweetened since most cafes I’ve been to usually sweeten it. But it wasn’t which can happen and is okay.

Thinking I could use some syrup, I asked the barista if I could get some simple syrup in my matcha latte. She made a serious face and said, “You should know that matcha latte has no syrup,” in an angry voice. She sounded like it's a shame that I even don't know the basic thing. I was so flustered and tried to figure out what I did wrong. I didn’t skip tipping and I was waiting until she finished her job to ask some syrup. I was so upset and now feel scared to go back to this place for fear of experiencing the same treatment. I used to encounter very kind staff before, but not this time. It was Sunday around 4 PM, and an Asian lady was working by herself. It’s just upsetting to lose one of my...

The best atmosphere! We just came back celebrating Christmas with family from all over the world. We gathered without knowing anyone and got to meet some really fun and cool people, children are happy and eating great food, adults mingling, chatting and having a great laugh. We dropped in without knowing if it was open and turned out to be a fun Christmas gathering of awesome people playing games, dancing, eating, chatting and just having a wonderful time! Shaun, the most generous person has captured the Christmas spirit and made all this happen. We were strangers who have become friends to celebrate and make some fun memories. His staff are welcoming and we have enjoyed ourselves so much that I just couldn't help but share this with the world of what a gem of a place we stumbled in on Christmas night! SHAUN, thank you for welcoming us with such warm embrace. He and his staff have created a perfect blend of warm hospitality, authentic charm, and lively atmosphere that it's not just a pub; it’s an experience that keeps you coming...

I am a big fan of coffee, when I visited this place at my first time I was really happy that finally I've found a decent coffee I toronto, but after that they changed barista and quality felt a lot, next time I was able to get a good one again, after that again terrible. People! is it that hard to get a consistent quality?! please train and teach your baristas, I don't want to play a lottery every time I want a coffee. But overall it is a good cafe with great interior and cosy atmosphere.

Changed my review to 5 stars! Coffee is consistently awesome. Great when owners are listening! ) I would also suggest you to turn off wifi during evening hours especially friday-sunday, too many people are just sitting there staring in their laptops and occupying place other people could take and bring you revenue. This is not a starbucks, people are going there to talk to each other and...
