Keeping a star for Phil since he is a wonderful human being. However, Iāve been told off multiple times by the brunette with the ponytail which makes me turn around at the door. I work in the neighborhood so I stop by on my lunch break to say hi to the cats and see if thereās any supplies I want to buy for my own. Today she called me disgusting for giving the cat a kiss on the head. If she didnāt want me to do that she couldāve said something as simple as āwe actually only let customers touch the cats with their hands for sanitary reasonsā but she went on to tell me I was doing the most disgusting thing possible and spreading germs. I went back next door to wait for my lunch there instead and the cashier asked if the cats were hiding, I told her about the woman and the cashier from the store next door said she has heard a lot about this āmean ladyā. My co-worker, who is also a cat mom in the neighborhood, said whenever she sees this woman at the store, sheās always yelling at her co-worker about something. Which also seems about right. So there you have it, at least this brunette has a reputation. Pet expert who is more than willing to belittle you to show you how wrong youāre doing it! Iāll miss seeing you Iris, Sweetie, and Boy! Update: instead of apologizing for calling me disgusting they made a cutesy instagram post about their catās safety. For the record I did come up to the cat and having done this before (sorry!) I leaned in and she rubbed her face under my chin. Again, if that wasnāt allowed she couldāve said that when I leaned in to give the cat some space but she waited until the interaction was over to call me disgusting. As a cat mom of 3 and a customer for almost a year Iām asking you...
Ā Ā Ā Read morea ghostly occurrence (perhaps i am invisible) : first time going in this store, but unfortunately i won't be going back. i was the only customer there, and when i walked in, i wanted to make sure it wasn't at capacity, so i stood by the entrance and noticed someone behind the counter and i said hi + waved. he didn't say anything so i walked in and browsed for a bit. seems like there was already a personal conversation between 2 of the employees (both whom didn't even bother acknowledging or greet), while another customer was chiming in. i was wrong - turns out, the other person i thought was a customer worked there (?), because he then suddenly asked if i needed any help.. which i replied no because i actually found it myself while they were all talking aloud about personal things. wanted to support local businesses but it's hard when you're a ghost ! great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live in roncesvalles so I stopped by this pet store. I said my dog eats a lot and her food is expensive. I asked the woman working here if I come consistently can you give me a deal on her food. The discount was maybe $10. I have purchased the food plenty of times yet today the manager for some reason had said to me: this was a one time thing, I am the manager and I will not allow this anymore. She got upset and even refused to give the 10 percent discount. She gave me lots of attitude and argued with me when I am simply trying to buy food for my dog. I can go to a million stores, and I donāt care to pay more. The fact that the store offered me a deal based on consistency then refused it is a joke. I was having a good day...
