Jamie Bell Adventure Playground, High Park, Toronto, Ontario Canada

I have Not been to High Park since I was a kid whereby my mom used to take me there to go fishing back in the 1980's.

I honestly do Not remember much about the park except for the Grenadier Pond where I used to fish and it was Not very clean and it would take hours before You could catch a fish, but I was somewhat lucky at that time because I did catch something.

Anyhow, fast forwarding I am Now back at High Park with my friend Guillermo Palomares and we spent practically the whole day there.

There are many attractions in the park and we have both visited all of them spending one (1) whole day in order to Make It Happen!

Colborne Lodge Howard Tomb & Monument Sculpture Symposium High Park Zoo The Children's Garden/ Teaching Kitchen Grenadier Pond Hillside Gardens Nature Centre Jamie Bell Adventure Playground Shakespeare Amphitheatre Allotment Gardens West Ravine Nature Trails Spring Creek Nature Trails

I want to personally Thank Guillermo Palomares for taking the time out of his day to take ME there and for helping ME make my Youtube Video back on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

Sincerely yours,

Howard Paul Shore Visitor Executive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor...

Being disabled I'm limited to where I can go. Sighs I have to use my walker since without it I'm stuck in bed or I fall breaking more bones. Ouch I haven't yet taught it how to climb stairs, Laughs Jamie Bell is a perfect place for people with mobility problems. Smiles I love to bring my cat 🐱 Tarragon there to play. We both like to see the beautiful green grass, trees, nature trails, water, wildlife, and so much more. Big Grin I go there to enjoy the senery and escape from the city. I love the outdoors and going to Jamie Bell allows me to relax and enjoy the environment and forget the stress of city life. Glourous Smile Its also a great place to setup my camera & tripod and capture the wildlife and scenery. Click, Click, Click Thank you Jamie Bell - you are an awesome place, Amazed Expression On Face accessible, fun, friendly, and helpful. (I fell in the water Giggles and the people close Splash, Splash, Splash jumped in to help me. Hugs People) I love this place and the...

One of our favourite Playgrounds in the GTA! Enter through Parkside Dr. & High Park Blvd. *Follow road that goes left Free Parking (but limited) at the base/end of the Public Zoo/Hill Ice cream/food trucks and hot dog vendors are usually there to order from 4 different trails to follow from the park (they branch off as well) *good for 20-30min hikes for young families Park is primarily wooden but my kids have never had a splinter in all of their years of playing here Small kid and Big kid areas very creative set up (like no other) *Resembles a castle, plus towers, with bridges, alternate walking paths & physical activities. **Swings, Slides, Rock Climbing, Tic Tac Toe, Balance Beam, tubes, etc *Zoo entrance is at the top of the hill (there is parking up there too) Turn right at the fork in the road when you enter from Parkside...

Nice long walks , kids water park, huge kids castle playground built with help from Mike homes. Garden area. Lots of nature. Seen a deer walking by ... They have a Little zoo to see. Restaurant to have a drink or food after long day hanging out the park .yes beer if need one . Great place to enjoy the hole day at. Bring a cooler with lunch and cold non alcohol beverages and enjoy sitting under huge trees.. while kids play soccer or volleyball.. bring your own net. They have hot dogs and ice cream truck parked by the kids area by the huge park

One of the best free parks in Toronto. Parking is sometimes hard to find during prime hours so you can find parking just east of the park in the residential area and walk into High Park from there. (Via High Park Boulevard) The park itself is great for children of all ages and has a massive wooden castle that is interconnected to a "village", swings, slides and much much more! Next to the park is a free mini zoo and lots of other hiking trails.
