I found Trini Bites on Tik Tok a few weeks ago and was determined to try it. Yesterday, the perfect opportunity presented itself so I sent my husband to get us some food. We have been in search of a new place to get good quality roti and curry dishes as the chain restaurants have seriously fallen off in terms of quality. The first thing my husband noticed when he entered the restaurant was how clean and inviting it was. From the moment he entered he could feel the love and was not surprised to learn it was family owned and run. Every single person he interacted with was pleasant and friendly! My husband wanted some veggie items and while he was disappointed there was no pumpkin, they made up for it in everything else he got. He ended up getting Curry Bodi, channa and aloo and callaloo and was absolutely blown away by the flavor. We got a large curry goat for my parents who absolutely loved it and said they could "taste the love". I personally had boneless curry chicken that was so flavorful, tender and tasty, I ended up eating the entire container by myself! The paratha was hot, fluffy and tasty as well and is our families new favorite!! We also got two doubles that were awesome and the sweet sauce was lovely!! Thank you Trini Bites for the delicious food and wonderful hospitality. See you soon!

Read moreTried the doubles the Monday after the opening weekend and it was fantastic. Boasted to everyone about how it was the closest thing to Trinidad. Came in Saturday and ordered doubles and aloo pies for the family breakfast and boy was I disappointed. The doubles was stale, you can clearly taste and see the microwaved channa and bara, by the time I got home “3 min” it was cold and rubbery. Advise! Trini’s buying doubles on Saturday morning expect fresh doubles blazing hot since I was the first customer. Oh! And the aloo pie was tasting like boiled potatoes. I don’t mind supporting you all but if your food is not consistent I can’t be wasting my money gambling on it.
In response, I called the shop Saturday to voice my concerns, ask your front staff. But instead of addressing the issue you decided to steer the criticism to me. That’s not how you deal with a situation like this, take ownership, Drupaties is next to my house so I don’t need to drive the extra 3km for stale food. And I’ll definitely not be returning to your establishment or trying...
Read moreI called this restaurant to give feedback. I had just purchased 2 Aloo pies and 2 Doubles. The Aloo pies had barely a coating of potato in each of them. Since I had frequented this resturant before and I was pleased, I thought I would let my experience be known to them. The person who answered the phone claimed to be owner. He obviously didn't like the feedback that was being given so, what did he do? He hung up the phone on me. I called back. He said he didn't need my buisness and that I should go to Drupati.. I had referred a few of my friends to this resturant but now I will discourage them. I will not reward the owner's rudeness and disrespect by patronizing his resturant. The owner may need some coaching/help in...
