Highland Creek Park — Attraction in Toronto

Fab place to walk or ride, from the north at Morningside Park and South at Greenvale Park. There are other adjacent parks and access points, which is fab because one minute you're in your streets and the next you can be on a paved park trail where you hear water, wind and critters, see greenery or colours and animals like deer, and smell trees and flowers. Fab because there are spots where the city has created pretty improvements like the river ladder at one sunlit corner and fab because they have also left spots where nature's power and time have done their things. I expected a bit more for some reason, when I saw the amount of good reviews. I am not complaining though, great view, peaceful place to spend time. There is more than enough area to take out your bike and go for a ride. Tbh it can be very easy to get lost, as it looks so similar. Regardless, definitely worth coming to at least once and spend some leisure time...

Entry to this park has a lot of locations and a lot of parking. I suggest to enter the park using two less popular locations: from Cedar Ridge park or from the most southern part of the park at livingstone road.
