Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Toronto

I am beyond disappointed and disgusted. I placed an online order and prepaid for it. About 35 minutes later, I received a call from the delivery driver who claimed to be at my address. However, I was standing outside, and no one was there. When I informed him of this, he asked me to confirm my address and spell my street name five different times. He then told me that while his GPS showed him at my address, he was actually at a different location and that I was out of their delivery area.

He advised me to call the store directly, which I did five times without anyone answering. Frustrated, I called the driver back to explain that I couldn’t reach the store. I know from personal experience that this location often lets the phone ring without answering. The driver confirmed that since I was out of the delivery area, he had to return to the store with the food I had already paid for.

I finally managed to get through to the store, and after explaining the situation, the person I spoke with said they would talk to the driver and call me back. A few minutes later, I was informed that although I was outside the delivery area, the driver would bring the order to me anyway.

When the driver called to say he would arrive in 10 minutes, I questioned him since he had earlier claimed to be at my house. Nevertheless, I expected my delivery soon. When he arrived, he handed me my food and left. I had ordered the daily pizza special and an order of onion rings. The pizza was stale, rock-hard, and tasted like cardboard. I received maybe five onion rings for $6.99, some of which were undercooked and others completely soggy.

Worst customer service ever!

They delivered the two pizzas SMASHED! I called it in while the delivery driver looking at the pizza and it was smashed! Pizzas were not cut back properly and it looked obvious that it came out of the oven very damaged yet they still packed it up and sent it over. I called the store back to complain and there were no apologies provided. The store manager's name was Prakash Mahendran. I heard the manager ask the driver did u eat the pizza. Who does that? I spoke back again the manager and he asked me did u purposely damage the pizza? He couldn't even say I'm sorry but we'll send another pizza on the house or keep the pizzas and you dont need to pay. He did or offer to compensate me for the time wasted or the service I received. Yet he accused me of damaging the pizzas! I ordered a meal with kids at home waiting eagerly. The store not only make us wait 45 minutes for the pizza but accused me of damaging the pizzas. He then slammed the phone down on me. I was shocked at the customer service I received from Pizza Hut!

The delivery lady had no blame on this.

Someone please listen to the call that took place today at 6:45 pm and train the individual on how to properly represent his company by treating customers with respect.

I would not recommend anyone to order from this store!

Visited on the weekend for the first time in years. Now I know why I’ve semi-boycotted this place. The food is predictably good. You know what you’ll get from Pizza Hut. This location though is a travesty. Garbage everywhere. Receipts piling up on the register. The staff had multiple opportunities to throw them away and tidy up but I honestly saw the man who worked there look at a receipt, and put it back down on the pile on the counter. As if they don’t care at all about appearances.

Staff was in the back most of the time. Hardly anyone would come out to check on the front of house. I ordered online and arrived after 15 minutes and waited another 10 because no one came out the whole time even though we were calling out.

When I walked in I held the door for what I thought was another customer. This person just walked on in, never acknowledged me and then proceeded to walk to the back. They worked there!

Also there was a man wearing his winter coat in the kitchen, handling food. This has to be a code violation of some sort.

Pizza Hut should be ashamed of this location representing their brand. Now I remember why this is only the second time I’ve been here in the 7 years I’ve lived...
