A&W Canada — Restaurant in Toronto

The guys working there at overnight are highly unproffesional and lazy. They don't want to work and the usual time's me and my friend go there around 3 am we find them mostly talking among themselves and killing time. They have very few to no customers still they take extremely long time to serve food and also talk in a rude way which is highly custom unfriendly. Still we go there as there are not any places open at Night. Even to avoid this minimal customer that they get around 3 am they start mopping the floor and lock the door so that they don't have to serve us! Its really sadistic and creates a very negative vibe. I will humbly request the management please take strict actions against this people working at night if you at all care about customer feedback. Specially, the guy in the front who once charged me for no reason telling he was serving "fresh food" when I had to wait for 20 mins for a coffee. I ordered a small coffee with 3 sugars the so called "fresh coffee" had 0 sugars! If the management is not able to take strict actions against this lazy,unfriendly being rude with the customers you end up losing your valuable sales for apparently no reason! While working nights in the city it is hard enough to find something decent to eat. My partner and I decided to come to this location and get some eggs and sausages. The guy behind the counter would not allow us to order just eggs and sausage links. He informed us that we can only have the eggs that are cooked for the sandwiches. That was fine with us, until he stated that we cannot order the food without the buns and had to pay full price for sandwiches and had no choice but to take the bun. We both do not eat bread and did not see the point in the waste of food. He was very sarcastic and belittling forcing us to leave hungry. All other locations I've been to in the city have no problem serving our choice of eating style, why not this one? The menu clearly showed what we wanted to order, but that was unacceptable to him.... Today, my husband and I visited our favorite A&W drive-thru at PC Pharmacy, 1896 Eglinton Ave E. We go there often, so it already feels like our neighborhood spot, but today’s experience was truly extraordinary.

The person taking our order was incredibly calm and attentive, making us feel like we were the only ones that mattered. My husband asked for our hash browns to be well done, and they were nothing short of perfect—truly mind-blowing!

I was so moved by the genuine care and attention we received that I tried to see who was behind the exceptional service. Even though I didn’t catch his name, he was working around 11:20 AM today. I felt deeply heard and appreciated, and it made our visit special in a way that’s hard to put into words.
