We picked up our drinks to-go and shook them in the car (as one does before you put the straw in, when the drinks have brown sugar pearls). One of the two drinks we ordered leaked everywhere, spraying myself, my husband, and the entire inside of our car.

Frustrating, yes, but what's a little milk tea spatter in the car, I love milk tea. What was most appalling was the attitude of the employee that was working. I went back in and said, in a completely neutral tone, that the drink was leaking and handed it back to him. I wasn't blaming him or accusing him of anything, I simply was stating a fact. I thought he would simply start making me a replacement, but he immediately became defensive and began telling me how I must have punctured it myself. I said that I get bubble tea like every other day and I know how to hold them, I'm also not a savage. He then proceeded to lecture me on how you're supposed to hold the cup, even taking new cups and demonstrating how I must have squeezed it so hard that I broke the cup. I quickly realized that I was A) arguing with a kid and B) about something that really shouldn't have even mattered.

I asked him if he was trying to say that he doesn't want to make me another drink? He said no, that's not what he's saying, but then continued to try and prove his point about how I must have done it. After some more push-back from him, he finally, and begrudgingly, started to make another drink, but not before he took the leaking drink and very aggressively threw it into the sink like he had just been fouled by an NBA ref during the playoffs, while also calling me a liar to the other customers that were there.

The guy was obviously very young and probably has some left over teenage angst. Or maybe he was older than he looks, and was just having a bad day.

Either way, it's disappointing to see that he didn't receive the customer service training one would require when working in the food industry. It's also the third time our drinks have leaked all over us from this place (the two times prior were due to the top plastic not being fully heat-sealed by the machine), but we never had an issue with customer service then.

This would be a 1 star if my experience with other servers weren’t satisfying. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with this server, she claims her name is Amy. Anyways, first time she made my slush drink very loose like water… All I asked for was less ice so it’s not so thick and I can drink it right away. I’ve requested this same thing on other occasions with different servers, they seem to get it right. This second time I went and I was already disappointed just seeing her there, but I wanted to give her a second try. I made it very clear how I wanted the drinks, to limit any mistakes (I ordered 2 for me and my partner). I tried hers, I said it was good, i tried mines and noticed she only adjusted one drink, after I clearly requested them to be made the same. I said she got the first drink right but the second one is wrong. Instead of remaking it, she took out some of the slush, adds milk and blends it… I start getting pissed cause I know this drink won’t be the same as my girls, but because I was in a hurry, I gave it a try to see if I could “deal with it” (which I shouldn’t have to). It was watered down and bad consistency. So I asked for a refund on the one drink so I could hurry back home, this lady REFUSED! This is crazy, why are you refusing to give me back my own money off your mistake? She forces me to give back both drinks to remake them.. instead of remaking them right away, she works on another customers order instead… lol this is so upsetting I’m laughing and pissed off writing, remembering this jackass behaviour.
