Saying dr. Sinha + his team saved my life is not an exaggeration! I have two relatively unknown MSK injuries - one from an abusive partner, and the other from a workplace injury. Dr. Sinha has helped me manage both, and was one of the first to be able to differentiate between the two - despite me always insisting to doctors that they were seperate in nature. My ONLY complaint is that they got rid of the laser therapy sessions 😓.... but that being said he has readily continued to accomodate his patients needing regular triggers+nerve blocks!
He is extremely empathetic and understanding; and is an incredible advocate that has gone far beyond his duties as a physician. He has taken the time to write MULTIPLE correspondences on my behalf to other physicians and WCB, speak to both doctors and specialized physiotherapists in the US o understand, help help me eliminate differential diagnoses and to manage my symptoms. He's gone OUT OF HIS WAY to help me: get my MRIs re-reviewed after the US surgeons saw evidence of my injury on them, and arranged for phone calls between them and the surgeon; he was open to reading literature I brought to him and agreed to consider these "rarer" entities once he had done his due diligence to rule out other possibilities.
He is extremely receptive to feedback and modifying his usual strategies to help me manage my symptoms. I have referred several friends and family to his practice, and all of them agree that his approaches have been life-changing and improves their pain/medical experience! I've also done hypnotherapy through him and always left the experience feeling lighter and having a bigger understanding of myself, my traumas and my mental health. What I admire most, is his ability to let me down and offer a different viewpoint. He never is dismissive of my suggestions or questions, and always is willing to o help me to put the pieces of the puzzle together. I really can't think of a time or place where he wasn't wholeheartedly honest and acting in my best interest - even if it was tedious, frustrating or repetitive (if you know WCB this describes working with them to a T. Most physicians have denied me care because of this, but it has not deterred him whatsoever).
I've been lucky enough to see him weekly for the last 3 years while navigating this workplace injury, and if anyone get half of the care I've received.... They would probably consider themselves lucky and think him/his practice is an upgrade compared to the care they've received by other local physicians (I've seen close to 50, and only 1-4 come close to offering similiar levels of care)! Out of the 6 people me or my family has referred all of them have had very positive experiences, recommending him to others and experiencing a change in their health (for the better).
I can also recommend trying the ketamine therapies, as I have experienced significant improvements using it and navigating my associated medical trauma. The interventions his clinic offers, such as prolotherapy, are things I'd recommend EVERYONE tries, and even to use beyond the ~6 treatments. Ive seen huge gains using it longer term!
His entire team is very helpful, kind and positive. They are instrumental and make booking, getting messages to dr. Sinha so easy - compared to other clinics, where some staff seem to create additional barriers to care. I can't think of one of his staff members that aren't angels!
I have also worked with Dr. Chauhan and Dr. Herdman - both of who have also been extremely supportive!
I always look forward to visiting, and ALWAYS leave feeling better or more positive about my complex situation! If you're hesitating about making the driving out to him, don't. I come out of High River several times a month, and I've never regretted it once, even during winter. Do yourself a favor and take the drive, even if it's just to check him out to see if he can help you! I'd HIGHLY recommend all of the above doctors and Dr. Sinha to anyone struggling with their mental health, chronic pain, migraines or...

I am a senior and for the past 50 years have experienced neck pain (caused by a double whiplash from a car accident where we were hit twice) and lower back pain (from car accident and lifting injuries). Because of these injuries I was unable to hold and play with my great grandchildren, do housework (vacuuming caused pain in neck and back), driving more than 15 minutes and sleeping a full night was impossible. I have had physiotherapy and chiropractor visits, with disappointing results.
I am a volunteer at Helping Hands in Cochrane, and a lady I was volunteering for was having laser treatment at Synergy for her rheumatoid arthritis at Synergy and she described the sessions as wonderful and beneficial. When I asked about the cost, she said it was covered by Alberta Health. So I immediately contacted them and got a telephone appointment with Dr. Helen to review my symptoms and got a referral to the clinic.
The girls at the reception desk greeting patients are very welcoming. My first visit I met Sarah in the Love and Light treatment room, and she described the treatment, whereas she would be applying the laser treatment and Reiki, and Dr. Sinha would be doing the prolotherapy which is injecting an irritant into the damaged muscles and tendons to engage in healing the damage from 50 years ago. The treatment was twice a week and were applied 6 times per area.
Five months into treatment I can hold and play with my great grandchildren, sleep a full night, vacuum, clean my home, drive to SE Calgary and walk without leaning on a shopping cart. I can’t say enough for the difference from before and now in my pain level (occasionally now and constantly before). Dr. Sinha and Sarah gave me back my life.
In addition to the above physical treatments, Dr. Sinha referred me to the migraine clinic. In 5 months, I have only had 1 migraine, as the blood pressure medications prescribed prevented them. And Dr. Chauhan used hypnosis to resolve underlying emotional problems.
This clinic is like none I have experienced before. Doctors, nurses and practitioners are open and friendly and take the time to explain everything. Coming to Synergy was the best decision of my life.

Read moreI was referred to this clinic by my pharmacy. I have suffered with migraine headaches for 34 years. It hasn't be easy over the years to find effective treatment and to have a doctor understand my condition. I finally agreed to try Botox, I met with Dr. Sinha, as we talked, I found him to be the most knowledge on migraines, and the different treatments. Wow I thought, maybe I have a chance at some kind of relief. His Nurse Dixie advised me that if I'm ever in a full blown migraine episode and nothing is helping, to call in any time ........there is help with a Cranial Block( I filed that away in, my head to try one day) and as luck will have it , 40 days into a seriously bad headache, I'm at the end of my rope, I finally remember " the Cranial Block". I call in, the receptionist listens to my distress, try's her very best to get me in ASAP, we have many calls over the next couple of days.......she calls me, there's a cancelation!!! Yippie, not knowing exactly what is this Cranial block, I'm a bit nervous, but also hopeful. I'm not going to lie, the injections were so very painful, BUT in 1 hour and a half.........total Migraine relief!!! Better yet, in 8 hours total muscle relaxation......... I hadn't felt this good in years !!!! Its been about 2 weeks since the block and I haven't had yet had a migraine attack. Dr. Sinha comes up with different medications, we try them, he listen to me when I see new meds advertised on TV, he checks them out - bad news not in Canada yet. His level of knowledge, care, and compassion is a true blessing for me. The staff is courteous, friendly, accommodating with a sense of understanding. The Clinic's atmosphere is a place to support your best health, appointments are close to being on time, there are no unnatural scents/perfumes or strobing florescence lights - all things Migraine suffers can't tolerate. I'm so hopeful, I'm in the right place with the right people to receive the best...
