I’ve always loved Starbucks, and my family shares that passion. We have many special memories around getting coffee before events, during road trips, and just as a treat. However, this location has consistently disappointed me for over a year now.
Drive-thru wait times are consistently around 30 minutes, and the quality of the drinks isn’t what I’ve come to expect. For example, my caramel frappuccino often lacks the caramel syrup and drizzle that make it so enjoyable. The white chocolate peppermint mocha has started tasting watered down.
As a Starbucks addict, it’s obvious to me that the baristas apply a 1/4 - 1/2 pump of syrup - counting it as 1 full pump. It’s full extension people! The pump nozzle should be squished all the way to the base of the container, and spring all the way back up to the top again - that’s one pump. If I wanted a drink that looked pretty but tasted like ice / hot water, I would go to Second Cup, thanks.
Failure to get me through the line in a timely fashion, and complete inability to provide me with my coffee as the recipe calls for has caused me resort to making my own coffee...
Read moreI have been putting off a bad review for awhile, hoping the other ones would make an impact for change, but I am hoping this review will help change up the service here a bit. It is well known in cochrane that at this starbucks is unreasonably slow, and there are many times I have walked away b/c of slow service. However, the main reason for coming back is, it is the only starbucks in cochrane other than safeway. What I noticed today was that there were 5 staff but only looked like only 2 were working. 2 staff members were running the drive thru, making drinks and taking orders. The other staff members didn't seem to be doing much if anything and were very slow moving. I noticed the customer who pulled up to the drive thru window and was not acknowledged for about 5mins, meanwhile many employees walked by. I also heard the hard working staff member say she had 7 mobile orders that were not yet started. I think it seems like some staff are trying their best but I think the order of operations is not working here. I really hope maybe some management can come in and help out, because this place is failing...
Read moreThe worst starbucks I have ever been to not only was I stuck in the drive-thru for a half hour with only 4 vehicles in front me. They then proceed to tell me after I order and no way out that their debt is down (fair enough stuff happens, but maybe put a sign up). Get to the window to pay after waiting an excruciatingly long time for them to tell me they won't take my cash either because I need a smaller bill (was a 50, only thing I had) and then proceed to ask me if I a have another form of payment. Won't take my cash, won't take my debit. Then decide after 5minutes of me asking them what other form of payment would they like to refuse. They than decide to graciously take my 50dollar bill and act like they are doing me a favor. No apology. I don't have high standards for customer service but I have to say this absolutely tops it... Don't waste you precious...
