BOSS Shisha Retail and Wholesale — Local services in Vaughan

This isn't your typical shisha lounge, because the servers dress up in club attire and the lights are dimmed with a dj playing loud music. If you live in Oshawa and are looking for a bougie place to dress up and take snaps of you blowing shisha smoke, this is it. But if you're like me and shisha is a place for your to chill and talk to friends in a laid back environment then you might not enjoy it. I gave it a 3 star because of a few things.

The servers didn't give our group of 4 comfortable seating when we arrived around 7:30 even if the place was nearly empty. We asked because there were plenty of areas that could accommodate 4 (that remained empty until 9:30 when we left). But instead, we were given bench seats (no back rest) right in front of the dj in the corner. Club music was blasting into our ears the whole time. They claimed the more comfortable areas with couches were reserved for "bigger" parties.

Next, the food was okay but nothing special. Overpriced for the small portions. I got the burger with fries and a friend got biryani. The nachos were alright, but they only serve 2 so you'd want to get more than 1 for a group. If you plan on going, I would eat beforehand.

Lastly, the servers take forever to respond to your table and tended to ignore us when we would look around for service and use the service machine on the table. When they do respond with more coals, they place them right in the center of your shisha head. People who smoke shisha would know that this burns your tobacco faster. We had two servers do this and I had to fix it every time.

Some shisha lounges in scarborough and downtown Toronto have their regular customers so I understand that they probably reserved the best seats for their regulars. But the bad service after that and the uptight bougie ambience of this place kind of killed the experience. My friends and I go to shisha lounges to hang out and talk. We don't go there with short skin-tight dresses + high heels in the middle of march to look cute while sitting on a bench. I guess this place is Oshawa's idea of a club lounge. I wont be going back. I'll stick to the laid...

This place is the best shisha lounge i have ever attendant in Durham region and else where . Me and my friends have gone here more then once and Boss Shisha has always provided amazing service and we have always left happy with out any complaints . This place and their staff deserve more then a 5 star . I decided to celebrate my birthday at Boss Shisha Lounge and it was the best decision that i made. The owner himself is a very organized, professional , yet very friendly and personal person . It is honestly a great thing to have in a business as most places tend to lack this. I had a group of 10 people who some that have never done shisha before and some that have. Yet all of them said they really enjoyed them self's that night. This place is for any age group rather you are 20 or rather you are 32 as my group contained these ages . Their food is amazing not only the way it tastes but the way it is presented and their shisha flavours are really good . Their house mixes are a must to try . Their music is really good and their staff is always making sure your ok even if they are busy and always friendly . The environment they provide is a very well clean and luxurious place . It is all about good vibes and i would highly recommend you celebrate your birthday with Boss Shisha as they have birthday packages that accommodate your needs. This place is a MUST for you and your friends to stop by for a visit if your from durham region or the GTA area it would be worth the drive . It is defiantly a place you must go and see yourself. Incredibly disappointed with the service, quality, and supposed 'deals' marketed on social media. The service is always slow. It should not take more than 15 minutes to have an order ready and distributed to the customer. I do my own shish/hookah setup at home and it does not take me more than 8 minutes to have it ready for me to use, but at Boss Shisha, it takes 15min, sometimes 20min. ALSO, the shisha burns FAST. Shisha burns fast for various reasons, and this includes either (1) Cheap coals (2) The Shisha being too close to the surface of the bowl where it meets the aluminum foil. Therefore, I've been here enough to sense that this place intentionally resorts to my #2 approach. But this does not make sense because wouldn't Boss Shisha want customers to spend a good amount of time on their restaurant/lounge grounds? ALSO, THEIR STUPID DISCOUNTS THAT THEY POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA ARE LIES. I asked about the $2.00 Beer deal SPECIFICALLY because of this night and stemming from what I saw on their Instagram account and they told me that the beer that my partner and I got does not get a discount. I also asked about the student discount and I even mentioned that I can present my student ID but because of the alcohol on the bill "it does not get to be applied." Seriously? Then what in the hell is the point of marketing these discounts if they cannot be used? And it took them 10 minutes to make a drink... and most bars will take half that time to make drinks. I'm so done with this place and I'm going to make sure that those that I know do not go to this place again. They aren't the "Boss of Shisha" because they resort to misleading...
