Pita lite Shawarma — Restaurant in Vaughan

Got a laffa chicken wrap (Saturday special) and regretted it quickly. The paper/foil used to wrap the shawarma was stuck to the laffa and I couldn't take the foil off without taking a large chunk of dough off with it which made it very frustrating to eat. On top of this, the sauces were all at the bottom of the wrapping which also began to leak very quickly. I've tried many laffa wraps from multiple places and never had such issues. A spot that sells food must have some sort of quality assurance practices, and it was clear to me they do not since the foil sticking to the dough is such an easy mistake to detect since it happened as soon as I opened it (right after it was prepared).

As for the taste, it was nothing special, and for the price it definitely is not worth it in my opinion. The portion size was very small and barely larger than a regular pita wrap, however you're paying a decent amount more, even if it's the "special" price.

Best thing I could say about this place is that it's very clean inside. If there aren't any shawarma spots nearby I guess it would do, other than that...

Maybe they were having a bad day as we all do. That being said, I work hard for my coin and I also work in the food industry for 30+ years and this just shouldn't happen. We ordered the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wrap. Falafel's were soggy. The shawarma wrap tasted like soap. The chicken was mushy. Really really disappointed. Also, they only offered large size. Regular size was not available. I've never seen such a small, skinny, thin wrap ever. Small with big price tag. Waste of my money. We threw it away. Just couldn't eat it. Hopefully they have...

This was our fav place since it opened with the Owners (Husband and wife team) When they hired it new staff it started getting worse. We would always have to ask for more salad or tomatoes the portions keep getting smaller and smaller but only from the new girl. I started driving by and if she was working I would go to Mr Zagros.
