I am writing on behalf of a friend who is not proficient in English. She had a horrible experience with a female cashier the morning of June 15, 2025. My friend (J), paid in cash. It was a small amount of less than $20. One of the quarters was old and had some dirt on it. The cashier refused to accept it and gave it back to J. J did not understand so she gave it back. The cashier gave it back and said "change it". They went back and forth for a bit until J asked to speak to the manager. The cashier took the quarter and went to the manager. The manager never came to speak to J. The cashier told J that the manager said she had to use another quarter. J rightfully refused. Now J felt that they were accusing her of using fake money. So J said they could call the police on her and she would wait. The cashier just kept insisting on a new quarter. All of this over a quarter!! Some other customers then passed by and told the cashier that this was ridiculous. Surprisingly, during all of this commotion, the manager never approached the cash. Finally the cashier took the quarter. She counted the money and told J she gave too much. J asked for the money so that she could re-count and give the right amount. The cashier THREW the money in J's direction. J counted it, paid and left. J is a loyal customer of Nations, and does not want any compensation for this. She just wants customers to be aware of what happened, and to not feel ashamed to stand their ground. That is not their responsibility to train employees before doing job. I went to the store by MY SELF , so i had to load the food and didn't check when she scanned products. BE CAREFUL when go shopping by YOURSELF. The first item is orange juice bottles. She typed 2 bottles already and scanned one more time. The second mistake is noodle bags. I put 2 bags in the veg bag so that she couldn't make mistakes. Unfortunately, she typed 12 bags instead of 2. The assistant manager, Sam, told me that why I lost only 20 dollars look like I lost 2000.? ?? What ?? She could say that because I am the person lost money not her. How many people do they check the receipt after buying??? When I wanna talk to manager. She told me he would not here yesterday, She would send messages to him the next day. Today I called in She told me that he would not come today. He would come to tomorrow. After that she told me that he is busy she doesn't know when he would come and speak only Chinese??
