I just got my nails destroyed at this place! Was I the ''lucky'' one? I was looking for hours for a place to have my nails redone, a dipping nail powder. I gave up when I was reaching my destination and no place in Montreal for it, not in my area at least, so I gave up and when I entered the last salone and she said sorry we don't do dipping/sns, I said ok, can you remove them and do a regular manicure? She assured me for that is no problem so I booked an appointment. Thinking they knew what they are doing, I sat relaxed on the chair, till one of the girls there pick up the metallic drill and start to polish my nails and I found it weird, knowing from my friend that this was supposed to be the least invasive nail manicure and normally they would have to deep my nails in acetone for a while and that's mostly all. I told the girl that it is hurting and I don't want to machine on my nails. She left, and the one that was supposed to take me, she put the acetone for 10 min and then the same thing she picked up the drill and start polishing my nails telling me that that is how it is done. Thinking they know better I let her. I cant say what was left of my nails after that, they were as thin as Kleenex, and I am not exaggerating! I could wash my hands because I was in pain, my nails were red and inflamed. I am still trying to recover from this experience. The next day I went back to talk to her and explain that this is not normal, what she did hurt me and so on, next minute she was screaming at me and making a scene there so I ask to talk to a manager. She refused to tell me the name of the person running that place so I asked for the reimbursement and that she should pray my nails will one day grow as they were, if not I will go to the consumer protection. I don't know how people like that work, and even more, in Westmount, it's not like in the middle of nowhere! The girl was doing the manicure to 3 clients at the same time, leaving...
Read moreI went with a large group of friends for a bachelorette and we had made a reservation a week earlier. Right before we walked in, 5 people walked in (not together) and they accepted them, basically ignoring our reservation and forcing us to wait for these people to finish their mani/pedi before helping us (started on us 40 mins late). They did a terrible job on our nails and didn't have ANY of the colours my friend (the bride) had chosen the week before and they said they have available all the time. They also kept accepting walk ins throughout the reservation and delaying our mani/pedis even longer. All in all, a terrible experience and I will never go here again. Especially considering there are so many other options in this...
