What a terrible experience. My wife and I stopped there for lunch, as we often do, with our two young sons who had just eaten at a fast food restaurant and were finishing their drinks. While we sat at the outdoor table at Cote Cuisine waiting for our food, the waitress asked our sons to leave the table with their drinks as ''this was not allowed''. We told her that this made no sense and so she went to get the manager. The latter actually brought us our food in a take-out bag and asked us to not sit at the table if my sons held their drinks. When we asked what harm was being done, she could only answer ''that's our policy''. We were incredulous but she insisted and so we asked to be reimbursed and left. The manager actually preferred to waste just-prepared food and lose good customers forever rather than have my sons finish their drinks at the table. What a dumb, short-sighted decision. After a very difficult Covid year for restaurants you would think that retaining customers would be important to them. Clearly Cote Cuisine does not understand...

For $20, this so-called breakfast burrito is a joke. Bland, flavorless, and embarrassingly small – it feels more like a sad excuse for a soggy panini. And let’s talk about the presentation: it was on its very own, wet in some corners from what looked like dark residue from a filthy panini press.
Two eggs? If there was even one in there, I’d be shocked. Honestly, how do you justify the price? This isn’t an airport lounge or some Michelin-star spot. It’s just a massive rip-off. Save your money and go literally anywhere else in Montreal – this place isn’t worth it. I can think of many places in Montreal where you get a big ass burrito for 20$.
When I asked for hot sauce, Tabasco was all they had… 😂
The service was smileless and disinterested.
I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time...

Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by one waitress — tall and thin — whose attitude was shockingly rude. The way she turned her face and behaved made it impossible to ignore. It was uncomfortable and disrespectful, especially when you’re there with family or friends.
It’s such a shame because the place has so much potential, but customer service can truly make or break a visit. If you value a pleasant atmosphere and respectful treatment, be prepared — one bad attitude can ruin an otherwise great meal.
Troth telling, the other staff were...
