Used to be a 5. We went on Thursday and Sunday. $55 each time just to get in! $20 each adult. $5 for my son. $10 parking. I really miss when fairs had 2 for 1 admission night on the Thursday. Fair doesn't open until 5. Rides sometimes later. Thursdays derby was very quick. They had the least amount of cars we've ever seen entered at any fair. It was disappointing. I always justify the admission to the fair for the event. (Derby, Tractor Pull,Rodeo) After the Derby we headed for toonie ride night. The younger rides were fine. But 4-5 of the bigger rides were almost always down. Forcing everyone to the other lines. I expect it to be busy but having the rides not ever open is annoying. Fan favourites never opened. (Bumper cars & Gravitron) You closing gates at 3 on Sunday was also very frustrating. At 2:58 I went to exit to grab money from my vehicle only to be told I wouldn't be allowed back in. Our family left because I had no money to purchase dinner to sit and watch the 3pm rodeo. Maybe new admissions but if people already have the wrist bands. Let us back in security is there anyways. What a rip off. Both days we felt ripped off.

Read moreThe food options are top notch and the staff were all friendly. The ride prices are fair and my kids had a great time. The face painting and balloons other tents were reasonably priced as well. The food is pretty expensive, but the thing I'm taking off a star for is the games, they are prohibitively expensive. Every game I asked about was $10, that's very steep for what's usually 60 seconds of entertainment resulting in no prize. The games were all deserted and no one was playing, so hopefully they realize and adjust. Also, the ticket booths are all right next to each other in one spot and there's no queue system, so you just end up with a nebulous mob of people elbowing around trying to get into what they think is the shortest line. Finally, finding parking is kind of a nightmare but that's to be expected. Definitely check social media/google maps and plan some parking options ahead of time
Worth going for sure, but you'll spend a few hundred dollars...
Read moreBrooklin Spring Fair used to be great before COVID. Now, itâs overpriced, way over-crowded, and for what you are paying itâs just ridiculous. In this day and age with inflation so high, I donât imagine any lower-income families being able to afford to bring their kids here. Shame, we used to go every year and loved the parade but itâs a turn off how overly-crowded and expensive it has become. Also, there are a lot of typical entitled Brooklin loud-mouthed teens and adults so youâll have to witness/deal with that if you decide to bring your children here. People are constantly jay-walking on the surrounding streets and on Winchester with no regard for traffic or others and then swear when you donât slam on the brakes for them. I imagine they are even more ignorant in the lines for the rides. ...
