We highly recommend Chile tour fun and guide Willy!
On a recent visit to Santiago, Chile (and first time to Chile and South America) my husband and I decided to book a tour to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. We went with Chile tour fun, a tour company recommended by the receptionist at the most wonderful hotel we stayed at, Castillo Rojo (also a must stay and is in Bellevista, a foody, artsy part of town...cool area to walk around in). It was fabulous and can't say enough about how great Willy was!
Willy gave us a little history of Santiago as we headed out of town toward the coast. He was easy to talk with and answered any question we had. He also made the trip fun, asking us what we wanted to see and do and making great suggestion for stops, including a little wine tasting at a local winery.
The walking tour in Valparaiso was amazing...so many artists and beautiful murals everywhere - very vibrant and colorful. Definitely could have spent more time hanging out there.
The restaurant, Castillo del Mar, where we stopped to eat was wonderful too. And if you miss going to Easter Island, he can take you to see Moai from One Makaihi Ahu.
We even had time to get a quick walk and our feet wet on a sandy beach of Viña del Mar (you just have to because you are there). The whole day was a great experience and wonderful way to spend our last day in Chile!
If you are planning a ski trip, like we did to Portillo (which was also awesome), make a little extra time to chill in Santiago. Take a tour with Chile tour fun...you will have a great time! Check to see if Willy is available too.
Thanks for making our last day in Chile a memorable and fun one, Willy!! Your first friends...
Read moreI had an amazing experience with this travel agency in Chile! From the very beginning, they were incredibly attentive to my preferences. I had a few places in mind—like the airport transfer, Viña Vik, and Termas del Valle—but they went above and beyond by adding fantastic recommendations to enhance my trip.
For example, on the way to Viña Vik, they suggested a visit to Viña Santa Rita, which turned out to be a great stop! For Termas del Valle, they recommended a wonderful countryside restaurant, La Vaca Echa, where I had some of the best steaks and traditional Chilean food. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local flavors.
One of the highlights of my trip was discovering my dream wine, the Terrunyo Cabernet, directly from its origin in the Valle del Maipo. That was a truly special moment!
The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly and that I was having the best time possible. I highly recommend this agency for anyone looking to explore Chile—it’s clear they really care about making your trip...
Read moreSimply put, two of the best guided tours I’ve ever taken!
Willie curated the perfect set of stops and areas to explore on the way from Santiago to Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. From the walk in the old city, the funicular to the Sotomayor square, Valparaiso was a wonder. We also visited Casa Neruda- Pablo Neruda’s gorgeous house on the hills with an incredible view of the hills and the Pacific. .
The Santiago city tour was equally enjoyable- a walking tour of the centro historico and multitudes of government buildings and historic stops.
As a visually-impaired traveler, Willie, my tour guide, was very cognizant of potential fall risks or steps. He is an incredible guide - friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had very enjoyable conversations on our drives and I endorse him wholeheartedly.
Chiletourfun put the Fun into the Tour and I’d give them 10 stars...
