There are several temples around the seaside village of Mui Wo on Lantau Island including the Man Mo Temple at Pak Ngan Heung near the beginning of the Olympic Trail (Mui Wo - Pak Mong). This is the most interesting heritage attraction at the south end of the trail and worth a few minutes to visit as you start your hike north.
Dedicated to the deities Kwan Ti and Wen-chang Ti-chun, the temple history dates back over 400 years.
