The Silvermine Bay Beach is located just north of the Mui Wo Ferry Terminal and can be reached by foot in just 10 minutes. It is a better than average beach in Hong Kong, around 800 metres in length, sand of fairly good quality, slightly course but not pebbly. During the last couple of times we've passed by, it has been very clean, which is nice to see. Water is fairly clear at the Silvermine Beach as well.
There is a promenade and a couple of hotels along the beach including the well known Silvermine Beach Resort near to the southern end while the Seaview Hotel Resort is further north. A few eateries and a couple of public toilets can before found as well.

A short walk from Mui Wo ferry pier, and if you are hungry coming off the ferry, there are many great places to eat, for vegetarians and...
