I recently visited the Pop Mart Global Flagship Store on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai, and wow—this place is absolutely mind‑blowing. The futuristic pearly white façade and ultra‑bright media screens stand out on the busy street, beckoning you into what feels like a sci‑fi playground. 

Once inside, it truly feels like stepping onto another planet. The retail space is vast — around two floors with stunning visual design from X+Living. Everywhere you look there are sculptural metal rods, arc‑shaped shelves, spherical pods, and interactive screens—a perfect blend of art, tech, and retail that showcases signature characters like Molly, Labubu, Dimoo, and Skullpanda. 

Collectors will be pleased—there’s a huge wall of blind boxes, exclusive Shanghai-only items, and rotating collabs and limited editions. Prices range from affordable blind boxes (~60–300 RMB) up to premium jewelry pieces sold at the Popop sister store.

The store's layout was well-designed, making it easy to navigate through the various sections. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations and assisting with my purchases.

POP MART’s global flagship store in Shanghai is a dream destination for collectors! The store is massive, with two floors packed with the latest blind boxes, designer toys, and exclusive releases. The interior design is stunning, making the shopping experience even more exciting.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and everything is well-organized by character series. Expect big crowds, especially on weekends, but that just adds to the lively atmosphere. Sometimes, resellers hang around outside, but it doesn’t take away from the fun.
