五卅运动是指1925年5月30日，青岛、上海等地工人游行抗议日本棉纱厂非法开除及殴打工人，遭到开枪镇压，引发流血事件，是为五卅惨案（又称青沪惨案、五卅大屠杀）。

五卅运动是于北洋政府治下反帝国主义和反当政的民国军阀势力的一场运动，由中国国民党上海执行部（时值第一次国共合作）策划及领导的第一个重大群众运动。
