Guxiang Hotel Shanghai — Hotel in Shanghai

This hotel is run well with lots of staff and good amenities. IysI located in the heart of a busy shopping district with a lively nightlife .

Our room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor was ok. This hotel caters to a lot of international travelers so there is a mix of Asian and American food on all menus (apparently many visit's prefer home-style food...)

While the hotel's Concierge was very friendly and helpful to us, be wary when letting them call you a cab. Ours told us the fare to Shanghai Zoo would cost a150 RMB, and it did. The trip back cost only 25 RMB. Always insist that the driver turn on the meter, as in all...

Very near to nanjing lu. U can see that famous road from your room. Nice view from the room. The lobby is quite impressive. The gym's equipment also well maintained and looks new. But can't say nice things about the room. Very old furniture. No english movie channel, but have a few english news. I saw some howard johnson glass cover in the room. Strange indeed. Not sure the hotel belongs to Howard's Johnson though. And the heater seems controlled by the hotel. No matter what is the temperature that u set, it will always be 28 degree. To warm for me....

Location very good. Easy to find in Nanjing Street Pedestrian. Only 3 min walk. Staffs are very nice, i can do early checkin because theres a room available. Price are affordable compare to the room and location, facilities. Theres a pool in the 5th floor, also jauzzi/steam room and gym area. Room service always check if i need something/reminder to clean up my room. The room are huge with a very nice view of Nanjing Pedestrian. Try...
