I contacted Justin to book all of our tours for our week in Playa Potrero. 10/10 recommend using Wet & Wild Costa Rica. Justin was quick to respond to all messages and very friendly. I booked shuttle transportation, catamaran, 4wheeling tour, and La Leona waterfall/river tubing tour with Justin. All were executed perfectly! Jonathon met us at the airport and was on every tour that we went on. He was a great addition to our group and did a wonderful job telling us about the area. I was very very happy to have him on all the tours. La Leona Waterfall: The most beautiful place we have ever been. If you are in good climbing condition, I highly suggest you take this tour. It is the coolest experience and beautiful! However, if you have very young children or elderly people with you, I would avoid this. The climb down to the waterfall is 1.5 miles straight down a hill using a rope in parts to climb. Not difficult for the average person, but will be difficult for anyone who has trouble hiking or walking up hills in general. River Tubing: Very cool experience! The water was very low when we went so the small rapid sections were not bad at all. It was very fun for our group! Lasts about an hour an a half. Highlight of our trip! Catamaran: The best part of our trip! We had an absolute blast! The captain even let a few of our friends spear fish. We had fresh ceviche on the boat! Very cool experience and takes you to great beaches! 4 Wheeler Tour: We rented golf carts and this tour allowed us to see more of the area. Shuttle Service: We had 13 people and rented the bus and it was large enough for all 27 luggages and 13 people. Very friendly driver! 10/10 Recommend using Wet & Wild Costa Rica! Ask for Jonathon to be with you on your tours!

We arrived to CR end of May with my husband. We wanted to explore the area doing fun stuff like ATVs, catamaran tour, waterfalls, water rafting, jet ski, etc. We both did research and found a whole bunch of tour operators and websites that looked the same to us. Some of them were more expensive than the others, some were hard to communicate with as they did not speak English (we do not speak Spanish). It was quite hard to navigate, as we were determined to have the best experience while NOT overpaying. We contacted Wet and Wild via phone, but weren’t sure on how to manage everything we wanted to do in a week that we had in CR. Justin (the owner) met with us and helped plan all desired activities. After doing quite some research, we ended up planning it all with Wet and Wild, as prices were the most reasonable and each activity and each tour was better than the previous one. Justin is super accommodating, and responded to the most weird requests, from checking our selected route to make sure we make it in time for our early morning rafting tour to “suggestions from locals” for places we wanted to explore on our own. Absolutely loved our recent tours experience with Wet and Wild! Justin made it smooth and seamless from the moment we booked our first tour until the final goodbye. Saved the contact for our next CR adventure. Genuinely grateful!

The journey was nothing short of breathtaking, offering the perfect blend of adventure, tranquility, and stunning scenery. I highly recommend booking a 3:00 or 3:30 PM start time so you can experience the beauty of the landscape in daylight and witness a mesmerizing sunset. Pedro’s deep knowledge of the land shines through as he shares fascinating insights along the way, yet he also knows when to allow for peaceful moments of reflection. The horses are clearly well-loved and cared for, making the ride even more special. Plus, Pedro is more than happy to stop and take photos, ensuring you capture every unforgettable moment. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience—don’t miss out!

Saw this company was highly rated so we were excited to try and book a last minute tour. Justin was really accommodating and found us a spot for the waterfall and animal sanctuary package but did insist on being paid cash which I found a bit strange. It ended up being his "business partner" Johnathan picking us up in his personal vehicle and driving 1 hour plus through a so called shortcut which made for a very uncomfortable ride for me (5 months pregnant), peppering us with uncomfortable anecdotes and constant complaints about the government etc. The waterfall spot was in fact quite beautiful and was well worth the drive. Can't say the same for the animal sanctuary. It was quite small and all the animals were in cages which is definitely not what we had imagined. Afterward we were promoted to pick a spot for lunch, one of the options being McDonald's, at which point we asked for a local cuisine option of casados and seafood. We ended up at what was clearly a nightclub that also served lunch which he then proceeded to order and disappear for 30 or so minutes. We all finished our lunch (sat together, again, odd) and asked to stick to the main roads on the way back to avoid the bumpy roads on the "shortcut". It was a long ride back that included more complaining about roads and local government and people's driving by which point I had become quite annoyed by and asked his to keep those kinds of comments to himself. He also asked for feedback on the tour and any we provided was quickly rebuffed and argued so we spent the rest of the drive back in silence. All in all it was unlike any tour (much less one rated five stars) I had experienced and would imagine this is a one-off experience that I would encourage anyone else to try and avoid. We do appreciate the accommodation in getting the tour booked but it certainly did not feel up to par with the reputation they've procured...
