One of the worst dining experiences I've had. Arrived at 7:00 pm. We ordered two drinks, an appetizer, and our dinner. The first round of drinks came out after waiting about 10 minutes. Both were mostly ice and lime, but good none the less. They were busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However now I believe the service was due to the fact we're gringos. Finished our drinks in about 10 minutes. No acknowledgement from the staff until 7:40pm when they finally asked if we wanted more drinks. My fiance ordered one more and this time it came with less ice/lime and more alcohol. At 8:10pm there were still no signs of our dinner or appetizer. Flagged down the staff and they had completely forgotten about it. At 8:25pm we received our appetizer (chips and guacamole). The chips were cold and not fresh. Guacamole was heavily salted. At 8:35pm our dinner arrived. The fish tacos were mostly topped with salad and the quesadilla was so salty I was only able to take one bite before I had to send it back. After trying my fiance's taco I realized the food was awful and didn't want an exchange for something else. At 8:45pm we flagged the staff down again and asked for a box and the check. While we weren't charged for the quesadilla. We were still charged $41 USD for one of the worst dining experiences I've had. If the owner would like to make things right they can refund me double the money I spent at their establishment for...

If you want an amazing local place with amazing local food, please come here! The staff was so kind and attentive. This is a true Costa Rican restaurant. I cannot say enough wonderful things.
