Great people and interesting tour! Went up the nearest mountain/ hilltop and looked over the valley. Lunch and drinks were yummy. I recommend for those who are interested in learning about cuban cigars and guayabita de piñar (local small batch rum). Bring some extra cash to buy souvenirs from the area as well. The taxi driver they connected me with (to go from Havana to Viñales for the day and then back to Havana) was excellent. Highly recommend requesting Freddy if you do a day trip. He was also knowledgeable about the area and different tourist attractions...

If you are going to visit Viñales, you cannot miss this tour. The guides are wonderful people. The horses are very well trained and know the way perfectly. They take you to a restaunrant that is inside the valley, in the heart, where the food is delicious ... the best food I tried in Cuba! We are a group of travelers who have traveled through more than 20 countries and by far it was one of the best experiences we have had since we traveled the world.
