The Samaná Bridge (Los Puentes de Samaná, 5MW8+W2P, Avenida La Marina, Samaná 32000) is a place that captivates with its unusual beauty and atmosphere of mystery. ✨ Imagine: a bridge stretching into the endless expanse of the ocean, as if inviting you on an exciting journey. 🌊 That's exactly the feeling you get when you stand on this bridge and admire the views. 🏞️ And this bridge doesn't just pass over water, but through several small islands, creating a unique route for walks. An atmosphere of peace and tranquility reigns here. 😌 The sound of the waves, the cries of seagulls, the fresh sea breeze - all this allows you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and enjoy unity with nature. Unfortunately, the paths on the islands that the bridge passes through are not in the best condition. 😥 It is clear that they need repair, and if the situation does not change, then some of the walkways may be destroyed. But, despite this, the Samaná Bridge is a unique place worth visiting. 👍 It will give you unforgettable impressions and the opportunity to take stunning photos. 📸

SAMANA. Two are the Bridges of Samaná that connect to the mainland with the Linares and Vigía keys, in front of this picturesque town, which for decades have been one of the emblems in the landscape of this province located to the northeast of the island.

At the end of the 1960s, during the first twelve years of Joaquín Balaguer's government, these two pedestrian bridges were built, as part of the works to improve communication routes and tourist infrastructure in the province.

Designed by the Italian architect Guillimo Bertalleri, they were executed by the Secretary of State for Public Works and Communications at that time, at a total cost of RD $ 784,655.04. The bridge that connects the mainland Cay Linares, 90 meters long, had a cost of RD $ 147,303.87; While the Vigía-Linares bridge, about 550 meters long, had a cost of RD...

Me gustó estar aquí. 100 pesos para el parqueo del coche. Y las fotos quedan muy lindas!

You get a great view of the city and the bay from the bridge. My suggestion is to enjoy walking on the bridge and take in beautiful views of the bay. The big island and not worth exploring in my opinion. We were here during corona time and the big island had pretty abandoned, had a lot of garbage and did not add anything interesting to the walk.
