La Cacata Brewing Company — Local services in Santo Domingo

Now they have changed their name to "Callejero DR" I have gone there twice after the name change, but same administration, I ate the worst chicken wings ever, the girl warmed me that these wings were supee spicy, and I like them that way, when my orden came, this was super sweet, didn't have a side other than a cheese cream that make them less edible. The waiters become careless once they served you, everybody is ignored, the place might be nice, but it is not worthy to dinner here at all. My two regrets were going there and having not returned the order.

Despite the place not being too full, the staff seemed overwhelmed. We had made a reservation and got there on time, but they gave our table to some people who had gotten there a bit earlier probably with hopes they would leave quickly. We ended up sitting and eating at the bar. It took them a long time to deliver nachos but then again it took them a long time to serve us beers despite being right across from us. My friend's hamburger was very good but my nachos were not that great. The chicken was dry too the point it was hard and the ratio of toppings to nachos was off. Una grata experiencia tanto en cerveza artesanal como en picaderas. Fui a este local motivado por la búsqueda en Google maps sobre Cervezas Artesanales y salí complacido. Para muchas personas el nombre del local quizás no le haga honor a lo que se encuentra adentro, ya que una cacata (en buen dominicano) es una araña grande (y a veces peluda) que causan rechazo; sin embargo, está por el contrario, te hará regresar. El local tiene dos ambientes: uno cerca de la barra (y de la comida) en el primer nivel, y otro más relajado e intimo en el segundo nivel. Yo opté por el primer nivel en este primer encuentro y eso me permitió aprovechar mucha información sobre las cervezas que elaboran en el local y sobre su comida. La oferta de cervezas razonable, 4 disponibles que probé con mi hijo en este orden: (1) Kolsch, una cerveza suave tipo Lager; (2) Session IPA, sin duda mi preferida; (3) Cacao Brown Ale con notas de café y (4) Witbler, con un toque afrutado de chinola (passion fruit). Las que recomiendo son las número 1, 2 y 3. Con la picadera iniciamos con los famosos Nachos pal Coro, sabrosos y suficiente para dos personas y rematamos con la pizza Ibérica de tomate, queso, pesto y prosciutto: sencillamente deliciosa. He dejado para el final el servicio al cliente porque fue lo que más valoré en este local. Nairobi fue nuestra anfitriona en la barra y quién nos dió muchos detalles sobre el local y sus cervezas. Se nota que su formación ha sido completa. También estuvo Omaira quién nos trajo la pizza. Está fue la primera visita a la Cacata pero no la última y pronto agregaré más detalles a esta opinión.
