San Marino Shopping — Local services in Guayaquil

The mall is quite big and has a nice variety of clothing and apparel shops, as well as Cinema, Food court and even a Super Market, it is a bit lacking in the technology store department, with only generic products being sold. Still if you are in a rush for a new phone or laptop you will find a couple of places.

The food court is varied and includes both local flavors and international franchises (burger king, KFC, TGI Fridays, etc).

One bad thing is the lack of bathrooms in the ground floor, if you´re in a hurry you´ll have to make it to the second floor and run to the far side of the mall...

I lost my wallet at the tobacco shop and the owners held onto it for several months until I came back to get it. It still had all my money and all my Identification in it. I was very impressed when I pulled some money out of my wallet to pay them for keeping it for me and they refused to take it. That was very nice. They saved me a lot of work. I don't have to get my Cedula replaced or my insurance cards or my military ID which is very hard to do. Thank you so much for being honest and doing the right thing! If I can do anything in return please...

It's fancier than other malls in town, but has pretty much all the same stores as the rest. Also, not very pedestrian friendly. The Wi-Fi only seems to work if you sign in with a Facebook account. The other option is to fill out a digital form that won't accept my phone number (which it requires) or my ID number (which is also required and seems intrusive to me).
