I’m beyond frustrated with my experience at the university talent show. Weeks of preparation, sacrifices, and dedication were completely disrespected by the organizers’ incompetence (I didn’t leave my house weeks prior to the performance). I was forced to wait for hours as other performers were prioritized, only to be told at the last minute that the speakers won’t be working for my perforance ( my performance needed speakers). This completely ruined my performance and wasted all the effort I put into preparing.
The lack of organization and basic respect for participants was appalling. It’s unacceptable to treat performers this way, especially when I poured so much time and energy into delivering something meaningful. This event was a complete failure on the organizers’ part, and their mismanagement is an insult to everyone who participated.
If you’re hosting an event, do better. Performers shouldn’t have to deal with technical issues, poor scheduling, and blatant favoritism. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time on such an...

Read moreThis school is a terrible place to learn. I came here for a semester long exchange and quickly found that the academic atmosphere here is barely extant. There are obnoxiously loud events on campus every day that make it too loud to study anywhere. The library has no area that is enforced as a quiet area for studying (other than the rare books library on the top floor, which unfortunately has very limited hours). I also found that many of the lecturers come to class unprepared. My school in the U.S. is much better at facilitating student needs despite charging less than half the tuition rate of AUC. It's really a shame what this place is, I have heard that in the past it was home to a much more rigorous academic attitude. I hope it evolves in order to retain that status for the good of...
