EDIT: I have been coming to this place for almost a year and the new staff that they brought ARE THE WORST. the new staff (two girls) were nice in the beginning but after the other staff members left, their attitude became the worst. They look at clients and point and laugh (they pointed at me once and started laughing and when i caught them they acted weirdly). The cashier girl always tells me to return to grab 10 to 20 pounds then she leaves and when I confronted her about this in the third time she declined.
I LITERALLY STARTED AVOIDING THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF THEM.
Espresso lab for me is a go to wherever I go in the world, but this is the worst especially since I am being laughed at and not getting my money when i pay cash.
Below is a previous review i did 7 months ago or so to show the difference.

The best thing about this space is the service. The waiter and the people. Working there is very nice and very welcoming. The first time I came to this espresso lab. Everyone was welcoming me, noticing that I was not Egyptian, and it was very. It is soothing to feel welcomed. I ordered Spanish latte, which was very delicious. And one of the best Spanish lattes I drank in Egypt.
They were also very helpful. Giving me directions, although not all of them spoke english. But they were trying, and I really appreciate that. The only issue at this café. It's the internet because the internet does not work. And if you have work or you want to browse the Web or scroll on social media, you can not do that unless you have your own internet and data on your phone because the Wi-Fi...
Read moreI had a terrible experience, I ordered an Aeropress and watched the barista brew it since it is usually enjoyable at speciality coffee shops to watch your order being created,
The barista was brewing the Aeropress on a paper cup which I was cringing at because I was waiting for disaster to happen, to no surprise the coffee exploded all over the counter and the weighing scale. I was expecting the barista to make me a new one since the paper cup was destroyed and the Aeropress brew was not fully completed.
Instead he just transferred it to another cup and acted like nothing happened and served it to me. As you can imagine how bad it tasted. I asked them to make me a new one but the other barista acted really rudely as if this is the way an Aeropress is done, only issue is I make an Aeropress at home everyday so I knew he was just being lazy :)
I asked for a refund and left, never going...
Read moreA wonderful place for gathering around a tasteful cup of coffee and savory sweets. Coffee here is served upon your own preference (and even aspirations) with the availability of wide range of coffee beans origin, coffee make techniques, and caffeine concentration. Usually, customers here are college students, yet there is a considerable non-students number of coffee lovers who visit to enjoy the rich coffee taste on weekends in particular. Seating arrangements are more suitable for students and young people in general. Also, heads-up, this place allows smoking indoors, and although there's a non-smoking area, non-smokers do get all the smoke in the air. Still, going for the indulgence of an excellent coffee in this place is not comparable to any other café in...
