My wife and I had a very bad experience with Venus over the last two days. My wife called on January 1st to make an appointment. After a conversation to decide on the right service, the front desk lady told her I'll check availability and call you back in two minutes. She never called back.

On January 2nd, I called. The same lady answered. I told her "my wife waited for you to call her back yesterday." She said "sorry I didn't know which is her number in my call log, so i couldn'tcall her." That is lame! Anyway, she made us an appointment for today, January 3rd, at 6pm and asked that we arrive at 5.45.

We arrived at 5.30pm after a 40 minute drive. We walked in to have the lady tell us "sorry we canceled your appointment, because water has been out for two hours."

Me: "we just drove 40 minutes for this appointment! Why didn't you call to inform us?!"

Lady: "I couldn't find your phone number. "

Me: "What?!!!"

Lady: "I tried 3 numbers and they weren't yours."

Me: "That's ridiculous. Why isn't our phone number saved with the appointment?!"

Lady: "because the owner doesn't let us do that."

Me: "what!!! Your processes and system are broken!"

Lady: "OK. Whatever you say."

Me: "We just drove 40 minutes to get here. We are new clients. How will you compensate us?"

Lady: "what happened isn't our fault."

Me: "you're going to force me to write a bad review on the company page."

Lady: "go ahead."

The worst experience I have ever had in a spa. First of all I was not given a health questionnaire to complete before the 120 minute Cleopatra program. I was led away by a young woman with very little to no English so communication was zero. As soon as she started the massage there was a lot of loud talking and laughter in the treatment room next door. I complained about it but it carried on all throughout my treatment which was very annoying and distracting. The masseuse at one point lifted my upper body so unexpectedly, which resulted in a sharp pain in my lower back. The massage, which should have been 60 minutes was only 45 minutes and the 60 minutes hamam treatment was rushed and was only 40 minutes. I felt very angry with the whole situation. I asked the owner when I was leaving why was I not given a health questionnaire to complete before treatment and that the masseuse had hurt my back during the session, he then started shouting at the receptionist who in turn began shouting at the masseuse and I was so shocked as all this shouting was happening in front of me. It was all very unpleasant and unprofessional. I came to this spa on a recommendation… what a total waste of time and money! I would definitely NOT be recommending this...
