So sad to see a change in the rosé at the Mas Sainte Berthe. More Syrah we were told. The result is a rosé that is more d'Anjou than Provence for me. Gone is the warmth of sunshine and lavender in a glass, this wine is more tart and fruit forward with a bit more acid, not mellow and sensual as it used to be. Then we continued amongst the vines, trees, wild rosemary and thyme at an inviting picnic table. What an experience! Wines were great and the cheeses and tapenade were incredibly tasty.
