Chalets Grands Montets — Local services in Bonneville

My family of five had the pleasure to travel to les Chalets Grands Montets twice. To be clear, these are the three cottages you can rent; not the bigger hotel that is nearby.

We stayed both times at le chalet de Paul. Three bedrooms, two full baths, one extra bathroom, a garage, a fireplace, a sauna, full kitchen, laundry room; the set up is great. It is a 3 min walk to the Grands Montets chairlift. A true ski in/ski out.

The kids enjoyed relaxing upstairs while we cooked dinner post a big day of skiing. There is a great food to get in Chamonix; we recommend the farmers' market on Saturday mornings.

From the balcony on sunny days, the view of Mont Blanc are really nice. And the wifi is very fast. I was getting over 100 Mbps.

The owner Stella and her family, who live nearby, used to be hotel owners. So in my humble opinion, you are getting the best of both worlds: a good size chalet that is perfect for a family of 5 like us (or 2-3 couples) plus some hotel benefits. If we had a question or needed a special arrangement, Stella was quick to answer.

In short, if you need to be in the Chamonix Valley and are looking for a ski in/out or just a place to stay with family, i highly recommend Chalets...

Been to a lot of chalets and hotels between Switzerland-France over the years and have never been to one as beautiful and luxurious as this one. The facilities and amenities included in the chalet were superb and above our expectations. The decor and rooms were all carefully curated and well structured. Our host Marie was very accommodating and gracious and prepared a chalet with all sorts of snacks, pastries and extras on arrival. The Chalet is very spacious and perfect for families wanting more room and privacy, the location was also perfect for day trips to Geneva, Monteraux, Megeve, etc and the Chalet had private parking too. Les Chalets Grands Montets was a wonderful stay. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk to the lifts, 10 minutes to the main street.
