The shop is nice, but when I was buying a postcard the gentleman inadvertently somehow swopped out the postcard I had chosen for a different one at checkout. I only noticed when I was back at home, so couldn't even go back to resolve this.
Edit after response from owner: I am not saying in any way that the gentleman meant to swop out a postcard. I am unclear how it happened as I was the only person in the store (so couldn't have taken it from a different customer).
However, I do in general really like small, independent bookshops like yours, so happy to increase the rating. I would have appreciated a more respectful way of responding to this, to me the postcard was actually very important. Everyone can voice opinions freely in this country, and customers should be treated with respect. If I had reacted to a customer like this in my job, this would not be acceptable and had I been treated in a mature way, I'd have been happy to give you a great review after your concerns...
