The coffee here is very good, easily worth 5 stars. Unfortunately, the customer service was the complete opposite; if I could rate it separately, it would only deserve 1 star.

Be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes in line, not because it is particularly busy, but because the barista is often engaged in long personal conversations with other customers. That would be fine if everyone was greeted warmly afterward, but instead, I experienced the opposite.

When I visited today to try their coffee, the woman who took my order (a middle-aged brunette, who I believe is named Wafaa based on my research on their Instagram page) looked at me with clear disdain as soon as I greeted her. I asked for a cortado and a decaf flat white, and her abrupt response was: “NO, WE DON’T DO DECAF.” The expression on her face made it seem as though she completely despised my presence and even my question. I then asked if I could have a half-shot flat white instead, but she snapped back that this was “a cappuccino.” Her tone, her face expressions and demeanor made me feel entirely unwelcome and uncomfortable, as if I had done something wrong simply by ordering.

It was such an unpleasant interaction that it overshadowed the quality of the coffee itself, I really couldn’t enjoy it. To be fair, the other staff member (I believe she was Australian) seemed much friendlier, which was a stark contrast to the woman who served me.

Based on the reviews, the business clearly does well, and I could see other customers being treated politely. Unfortunately, my own experience was very different; it felt like this particular staff member simply didn’t like me. All customers deserve to be treated with the same respect, and the way I was spoken to today was unacceptable. It left me feeling very unwelcome and disappointed. I hope not other customers get treated this way if the barista just simply doesn’t like the customer...

Nomads is truly a wonderful place to enjoy specialty coffee. I had a fantastic Burundi coffee as a flat white — it was fruity with perfectly balanced acidity as the milk complemented it beautifully. If you prefer less fruity coffee, there’s also a Colombian bean option available. I paired my coffee with a lovely chocolate and hazelnut cookie, which had a chewy centre and was topped with fresh hazelnuts. The crunch from the nuts and the molten chocolate made it both delicious and visually appealing. They also sell a great selection of freshly roasted specialty coffees, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If I lived here, I’d definitely be coming...

Good coffee shop in a really great location! The outdoor seating is perfect for people watching, and it’s seconds from the main covered food market. Wonderful to sit and watch tourist & locals with their petite dogs strolling past along the beautiful cobbled streets. There are seats available inside too. Nomads do all the usual espresso based beverages including a nice strong Flat White. The espresso is strong and bold - very typical for France. And there’s some attempt at latte art which is rare in France. Service was very moody, so don’t expect eye contact or a smile when ordering. The location is excellent so it’s...

This little coffee shop may be small, but it’s got big coffee energy. The smell of fresh brews hits you the moment you walk in, and while there’s no fancy artwork to admire, the walls are lined with bags of beans and cool coffee accessories you didn’t know you needed. The coffee? On point! Whether you’re after a strong black coffee or a frothy latte, they’ve got you covered. And don’t sleep on the pastries—seriously, grab one before they disappear. The vibe is laid-back, the staff is friendly, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to, even if just for a quick caffeine fix.
