Never write reviews but since I just had my best experience in a restaurant, not just in Antibes but probably ever! The food is very, very good - balanced flavour, fresh, innovative and super tasty. I’m east asian and I think for some dishes they really added a bit of east Asian twist which made them really exquisite and special. I went by myself so I couldn’t order the bottled wines, had 2 different wine by glass and they were superb. They let you taste them for free before ordering, which I never experienced (at least in London). They also allow half portions for the starters - so grateful for that especially I came alone. I got to taste more dishes because of that and that also shows how caring they are to their customers! The waitresses were the best ever, they were friendly, took the time to explain every single dish, every single wine and always so pleased to talk to you. The put a name tag on the water which I think is such a sweet touch. I came on Saturday and didn’t get a table, and they were closed on Sunday and Monday. I’m so glad I got a table on my last night here. I’ll definitely come back to Antibes just for...
Read moreFour of us had a fabulous evening here. The restaurant is very cozy on two levels with probably fewer than 10 tables. We were greeted by very friendly staff as we came in and taken to our table. The menu was brought to us on a chalkboard and apparently changes weekly. The wine list is literally a booklet, but don’t let that intimidate you. One of the two owners comes over and asks a series of questions of what you like and is so helpful to determine The best wines to your liking. We end up having three bottles of wine and all of them were incredible and perfect to go with the dishes that we chose. We all like to share our dishes, so this restaurant was perfect for us. For the four of us, we made six different choices from the menu and shared them all. All were very creative and flavorful. We then ordered both the desserts that they had available and again, those were both wonderful. They even did a nice little celebration for my wife’s birthday. I cannot recommend this restaurant...
Read moreI’d love to be able to give a better review but unfortunately this place didn’t live up to the comments online. Perhaps they have changed their concept recently but it is no longer a restaurant that has a traditional entree , main , dessert style menu. Instead it is a tapas menu consisting of small plates to accompany their wines. The fact that there is no visible menu online made it difficult to know this and we booked for a birthday dinner based off the previous menu we had seen a few months ago. We left hungry and disappointed , not wanting to spend more money on small plates . I will say though, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The food is okay, although expensive for what you get. I would come back for a wine tasting with snacks now that I know the concept of the establishment better but best to avoid if you are...
