Bisous Bisous Paris — Local services in Paris

My wife and I have made the trek to Paris from the States twice and both times the only absolutely guaranteed, wouldn't miss it for the world stop was at Bisous Bisous to get tattooed by Max. The two pieces I have from him are my two favorite pieces among a growing collection and the artistry, imagination and execution are simply unmatched. This time we were blessed with a full shop for the 7 hours we were there total (with a generous lunch break between us getting our knees blasted) so we got to hang out with the other artists around as well. Everyone was a delight and we were all conversing about anything and everything. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is unbelievably talented here, you simply cannot miss. This time around Max had an even lighter hand while still putting in some of the most vibrant colors and rock-solid blacks I've ever seen in a tattoo. Walking in for my appointment I was greeted with an offer of coffee as well as Pain aux chocolat, setting me, a mid-30's autistic mega-introvert who had just somehow survived navigating the metro from Musee De L'Orangerie to within walking distance of Pere LaChaise Cemetery solo, instantly at ease. I cannot recommend this shop enough, Two years on my thigh piece is just as brilliant as it was the day of, I'm certain my knee will remain so as well. Everytime I go in I both further reinforce my one-day dream to take the dive and seek an apprenticeship AND confront the fact that there are some people who are just genuinely unique and brilliant artists who were born to do it. Max is one of the latter while also remaining a truly lovely, kind, fascinating and hospitable host. Until our next biannual adventure to Paris, Au Revoir...

Raddest tattoo shop in France! My fiance and I were in Paris in September and knew we wanted to get tattoos to commemorate our trip. We both like trad, and found Bisou Bisou from other reviews and Reddit. We figured it was a long shot that someone would be able to fit us in during our time in Paris. Low and behold, Ben, one of the owners, welcomed us with open arms and was stoked to tattoo us both that day. I could not be more stoked on a tattoo shop. We both chose one of Ben's flash designs and are both obsessed with what we got. Ben took his time, everything was super clean, and EVERYONE at the shop was just incredibly kind (Ben also took the time to write us an entire list of recommendations for Paris and Ben if you read this, know that we accomplished probably 90% of your recommendations!). A good tattoo is great, but a rad tattoo by a rad person at a rad shop in Paris is the cherry on top. Thanks for your hospitality...

Made 2 beautiful pieces with Max and the outcome was incredible. Outstanding artist with unique work, great knowledge of skin regeneration that will certainly help my future tattoos heal better, and an awesome human being to have great chats with while tattooing.
