I love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately, the food at this restaurant lacks flavor and depth. And very expensive!
The Bamako burger was simply a piece of fried chicken with peanut butter paste in a bun. No spices, no salt, no real taste. Even if the restaurant prides itself on using quality ingredients, the recipe definitely needs to be revisited. (Or the cook had a bad day but I read a lot of reviews talking About the lack of taste).
The PBY burger was the tastiest item we tried. The suya fries and fried plantain were decent, but we really need to stop calling every fried plantain alloko. Alloko is prepared in a specific way, not every fried plantain qualifies.
