Believe the hype!! Reading all these amazing recommendations about Vee, I wondered if it could be true for me. Could I also leave happy with a haircut for once? Well, I can say firsthand now that the answer is YES!! Vee is the BEST!! So kind and friendly, and she even fit me in on a Saturday when I contacted her that morning. She is a haircut master. I came to her with a really bad haircut from a different place. She looked at the photos of what I wanted, looked at my hair, diplomatically discussed what they did wrong and fixed it for me. I left with a huge smile on my face and really great hair!! My French isn’t the best, so it was also a nice bonus to be able to speak English with her, though she does speak both. Vee is amazing and is such a gentle and kind hearted soul.

Haircuts for me are always challenging, especially in new cities, as I am woman who wears a hijab (headscarf) and it can be difficult to find a place that can accommodate me. I was in dire need of a cut and was not sure if I would be able to find a place where I could get my haircut, given the fuss around headscarves.
