It was all in all an exquisite experience. Love the sound effects, it's amazing! We've watched ETERNALS here, great Marvel movie too! 🤩 Besides the movie, there's also a large lounge area outside the theatre halls with sitting arrangements to wait for the movie time. Moreover the parking system is cool, as parking fare is included in the movie ticket. 😃 I am impressed about the illumination of yellow and orangish lights from the ceilings inside the entire theatre. Looks fantastic! The Dolby effects in the movie was simply marvellous and realistic! I also like the location of this movie theatre, it's just in between Buddha Lounge and Liebes Küh (a steak house). So, in a nutshell, loved the experience, can't wait to visit...

Der ohne meine Begleitung angestrebte gestrige Besuch des Astor Filmtheaters meines 13 jährigen Sohnes sowie seines gleichaltrigen Freundes verlangte mir einen enormen Mehraufwand ab.

Der Online Kauf der Tickets für einen Minion Film FSK 6 um 19:45 Uhr war schnell getätigt. Kurz vor dem Bezahlvorgang erschien ein rot unterlegter Hinweis. Inhaltlich wurde einzig darauf verwiesen, dass der Film für Kinder unter 6! Jahren nicht geeignet sei. Keine Angaben im Hinblick auf einen möglichen problematischen Besuch der 13-Jährigen zu dieser Uhrzeit. Die Option Schülerticket war in der Maske online nicht anwählbar (Kino- Montag!).

Fazit: das Kino rief an, die Jungs durften die Vorstellung nicht besuchen. Also keine Leistung für das ausgegebene Taschengeld. Damit waren die Jungs abgefertigt. Als Grund verwies man auf das Jugendschutzgesetz.

Darauf habe ich mich genötigt gesehen, selbst zum Kino zu fahren um zumindest eine Gutschrift der fast 20 Euro einzuholen. Damit ist ein 13 jähriges Kind überfordert. Es gab kein Angebot seitens des Theaters.

Die durch mich eingeforderte Gutschrift gab es als maximale Entschädigung. Meinen Aufwand, der mich über 1 Stunde Zeitaufwand gekostet hat, interessierte niemanden der Theaterleitung. Eine kalte Cola auf Kulanz hätte mich ggf. etwas besänftigt (draußen waren es immerhin noch über 25 Grad). Meine Forderung: mehr Transparenz schon während des Bestellvorganges! Bei besserer Information während des Onlinekaufs kann bereits solch völlig unnötigen Situationen vorgebeugt werden. Aus meinem Umfeld weiß ich, dass ein wahrscheinlich nur kleiner Prozentsatz dermaßen vertraut mit der Gesetzgebung ist. Für mich war es ein völlig unnötiger und sehr unschöner Mehraufwand.
