Look I’m not a fussy guy, I’ve stayed in terrible hostels with no hot water and no linen, I’ve ridden on 14 hour buses, I’ve flown for 24 hours from Australia to Europe multiple times.... but nothing and I mean nothing is as bad as my one and only experience with Ryanair. To get started our flight that was supposed to leave at 11:30am didn’t start boarding until 12:10pm, I was then seated on the plane for 4 hours waiting for it to leave the airport (and no we weren’t allowed to hop off the plane and stretch the legs) our plan then left the airport at 3:30 and didn’t even land in the proper destination. Rather than land in Eindhoven we instead landed in Koln which is an airport in Germany!!! nearly 3 hours away from our original final destination. Upon landing in Koln at 4pm we were instructed that there would be shuttle buses to take us all to Eindhoven. Though much to my “surprise” there wasn’t a single Ryanair employee to be seen when we landed, no signs guiding us to the bus stop, and not a single bus waiting for us. Instead we had to go to departures, find the Ryanair staff, and ask what the hell was going on?!? The buses eventually arrived at 6pm but it was too little too late no correspondence from the Ryanair staff equaled a very large, distressed, and angry mob of people. Read more“My experience with Ryanair has been nothing short of frustrating, and this is the second major delay I’ve had with them within just one week. The first time, the flight was delayed by an hour – inconvenient but something I could overlook. But today has been a complete nightmare. I’m currently stuck sitting on the plane, with no information about when we’ll actually take off. We’ve been left waiting with zero updates from the crew, and it feels like Ryanair couldn’t care less about our time or comfort.
The lack of communication is astounding. Passengers are packed in, anxious and annoyed, and yet there’s not a word from the staff or pilot explaining the delay or providing any sense of timing. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like we’re being kept in the dark. Ryanair’s approach seems to be “take it or leave it” – no respect for customers, just an expectation that we’ll accept delays without complaint.
For a budget airline, I expect a straightforward experience: you pay for the basics and at least get where you’re going on time, or close to it. But these delays and the total lack of accountability are unacceptable. Ryanair, you need to understand that passengers value their time and plans, and your treatment of customers here is unacceptable. After this experience, I’ll think twice before booking with Ryanair again, and I’d advise others to consider alternative airlines if they want even a basic level of reliability...
Read moreI would give no stars if I could. I don’t speak German. I was trying to understand this agent that was boarding us. I ask for English person. Delayed 2 hrs no AC. Nobody at the gate to inquire or could assist foreigners. At a airport help me understand this lack of service. This airline agent insulted my partner and I. Called him a refugee. Told us step to side while she board other passengers. We did just that. She spoke little English refuse to answer any of my questions. Racist behavior came out. She called us aggressive clearly she didn’t want to be there. She did not want to do her job. She was in rush only agent boarding passengers quickly. No time to explain or Answer questions. Partner ask her question she let another passenger on with the same ID we provided while we stand there. She said we were aggressive and called the cops. This is how customer service handle by racist people accuse you of aggression and give false report. Clearly she refuse to assist us. I complain to the airline no apology. They condone this behavior. I felt so I’m embarrassed I told the police what happen. They were polite enough to explain direct us to location to rebook our flight. I missed my fight which I paid for.
