LEMI - Supermarkt am Bahnhof — Local services in Freiburg im Breisgau

I would rather starve on a Sunday evening than accept a customer service in such a condition. Very disrespectful.

To clarify the story:

I grabbed a few things from the market and had to pay cash since the total price of the groceries was less than 10€. So I gave the cashier 100€ cash. He tested it for around 2 minutes. Until now all was OK, until he gave me washed up/wrinkled 50€ back which I kindly asked to be replaced. I just didn't feel like taking the risk of struggling with ways to spend the received inappropriate looking 50€ bill. Not only he did not accept to change the money, he also made a scene out of it, such that all the other customers were looking at us. So we had a loud toned dicussion, when then i presume the co-worker/probably shift manager asked me to give the groceries back and leave (so i was technically kicked out). This all because I kindly asked him to change the 50€ bill he initially gave me. At the end I took the 100€ bill back and left.

It is my right to accept the cash he is giving me the same way he checked the 100€ i paid with.

I can already read other similar reviews, which makes me think that it is a common practice. In all cases, I will never step foot in this...

i like how humanity reaches his end , when i see the guy who is ladendetektive there ..... unfortunatly this guy has lost any human feature of his and right now is a compelet dog ( the wild ones ) ..... with the IQ less than 60 , the first thing you notice when you entere there is this guy , looking at you like a complete psycho serial killer .... with the Eyes trying to jump out .... reall creep .... he shoes instantly his role ..... last time i told him , i know you are ladendetektive please dont stare at me every freaking time .....

he couldnt talk ........ instead he attacked me physically exacly like a dog ..... i called the police and made a Anzeige wegen Körperverletzung ....... i hope this animal looses his job ....

for the persons who hired him : nice job !!! i have a donkey over here maybe ill bring him next time , he would be...

I really hate giving bad reviews, but it felt like this shop was begging for it. First the good points: This supermarket is opened even on sundays and holidays. The prices are reasonable. The bad stuff: Don't buy drinks there if you are not planning to keep on the bottle forever. This shop is refusing to take their own bottles back. They won't give you your deposit back! Their excuse: On sundays and holidays, we don't have employees in store to put empty bottles away. They would just stand around in store. So they just expect you to carry them around on your journey forever. They would just take one of your bottles if you buy a new one. But this wouldn't make the situation better. You would still have the same amount of bottles to...
