Goldbek farmers market is a lovely fresh food shopping option. There are vendors for all your daily needs including bakery stalls, fishmongers, butchers, cheese, herbs and spices and of course plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. This includes good options for bio / ecological produce. There are also some specialty vendors with pickled goods such as gurkens or kimchi, olives and dip vans, bee keepers selling honey, fresh hand made pastas or regional specialties from France or Portugal. Some stalls sell eat on the spot goods like empanadas or waffles and of course there is the Currywurst van no German market would be complete without.
If you like to shop regional products, support individual business owners over large chains or simply like to cut down on plastic packaging, the market is a great way to do this. It's advisable to bring your own bags anyhow.
