My first visit at this public bath left me with a great impression. Location is easily accessible by public transportation - close to Landshuter Allee (tram: Olympiapark West, U-Bahn: U1 - Gern). Friendly staff around is very helpful with first-time orientation. I found the visitors to this gem pleasant (international) folks who were noticeably having a good time and this created a good atmosphere (contrary to experiences you could have in other swimming pools). It was 4°C outside air temperature when I went swimming there in the late evening after a busy day. It wasn‘t too crowded. Since swimming pools are outdoor, it felt a bit unusual to actually leave the building with only swim pants on, since there is no indoor entry. The feeling however is awesome, because the water of the first pool is warm as the sea water of Dubai‘s beaches in September and has some jacuzzi nozzles and spaces to relax in the warm water. The 50m swimming pool is tempered well enough for low air temperatures to exercise. I really enjoyed Dantebad and can‘t wait to return. Totally recommend.

It's clean. Open all year around. For 8,40€ you can access a small gym with a few machines incl. a treadmill and an elliptical and two outdoor heated pools - one with lanes for swimming and the other one with whirlpool and other bubbles. For the saunas you have to pay extra, something like 18€. You can rent towels and buy swimming suits, but it's much cheaper to bring your own. Wasn't very crowded from 8 to 9 pm on a Friday in February, but was still nice and not cold.

Our Munich Tech Sauna / techsauna.dev community visited in November '23 and had great fun. The sauna infusions were not very special, but ok (single flavor, not much info, hot) and staff was nice and helpful. The atmosphere is positive and all saunas and facilities were operational. You can get out to the swimming area to enter the restaurant and have drinks/food with just your towel on... it was a great place to meet and chat, too. It's on our list again for 2024.

This is a true oasis of Munich, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation, especially in winter. The large heated swimming pool is a highlight, offering plenty of space to swim while staying warm, even on the coldest days. The outdoor area is quite impressive, featuring powerful water jets for a relaxing massage and a river-like flow that makes for a unique and soothing experience—all kept comfortably warm year-round.

The spa area is outstanding, with a variety of saunas catering to all preferences. Sauna ceremonies take place every hour, offering an immersive and relaxing experience. The facilities are impeccably clean and hygienic, with cold-water plunges and thoughtfully designed resting areas, both indoors and in the quiet sauna garden.

The staff are friendly and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Payments are hassle-free with card acceptance at the entrance and other key areas. However, one small downside is that the drink vending machines inside only accept cash, which can be inconvenient in 2024.. who would carry the coins these days, at least in the spa?

Overall, Dantebad is a top-notch wellness destination that combines excellent amenities, cleanliness, and warmth, making it a must-visit for anyone in Munich, especially during the winter months. Highly...

Angenehme Wassertemperaturen.
