A spacious and bright shopping mall with a good selection of shops in a high density area. It is easy to reach by subway, as it has a subway station on the premises and and seems to serve predominantly the local community. I found it pretty hard to reach from outside Munich by car. However, I found very clear evidence that Neu-Perlach is a jumped up village, that shuts down at 9:30 on a Friday night. The PEP parking garage literally locks up their gates at 9:30pm! Not only the admission gate, no also the exit gate! Never heard of a place like that. Normal garages will always let you take your car out, but that place is literally locked tight. So, if you come back after 9:30pm you find your car locked in, No phone number anywhere how you could get the car out. After a tense hour of stumbling around the area we found a helpful soul who had the number of the securry guard who let us take out our car. I will leave the PEP in future to the local residents, who knows what other catch...

It is usually less crowded than Riem, which I like. The stores are fine for us - we pick over the options for kids and women's clothes mostly, and grab a bite to eat or a bier in the "biergarten". If you need upscale brand products, specialist sports equipment, or other premium goods then this is not the place. But for basics, it really works, it's convenient with the Ubahn, and stores are clean and friendly. ...
Read moreWe were visiting this Einkaufscenter 15th of march and it was horrible experience- this center have only one elevator and it didn’t work! We had a stroller and the baby and it was impossible to get to the shopping center with it because the stairs were very narrow, we were forced to leave without going into the shopping center! But it wasn’t the end there - we couldn't leave the parking lot because the gate wasn't working or it was something else, because of that we were stuck in a traffic jam in the parking for more than 40 minutes! And that was especially difficult because we have a baby. We spent a lot of...
