Amazing, authentic souvenirs.

This is the only place I found in Athens that sells authentic, historically accurate souvenirs that are hand-crafted by a studio who does official museum work too.

The necklaces in particular are beautiful, but there is also a large range of pottery and ceramics, including figurines, ancient toys and puzzles.

The store is at the top of the Monastiraki shopping district, where a lot of peolpe miss it or walk past without realizing that it is not just another tourist trinket place.

If you want a reminder of your visit that will last a lifetime and has real meaning, Attic Black is the place to go.

NOTE: The lady who runs the shop is very helpful and knowledgable, but the stor may sometimes be closed at lunch or during the hot part of the day.
